I waited patiently and eagerly for the 2025 X3 but was utterly disappointed when they unveiled it. There’s no way I was going to get that over the outgoing model.
Promo APR: 2.99% / 60 months. This changed to 3.99% for July, a day after I bought mine.
Discounts may get even better closer to the 2025 X3 hitting the dealer lots. But as of now the 2024 is still being produced, though the production is being cut for the newer model.
I was on a clock & not sure why I didn’t try hard enough to find a broker. But it does seem like there aren’t many brokers in the WA area.
There were just 2-3 cars on the lot with all packages I needed within a 150mi radius.
I feel I did a good job negotiating myself but next time I think I’ll hire an agent for a more efficient process and potentially better pricing.
I do not like the redesigned exterior. Both front and rear. The grills are getting bigger again. And the overall proportions don’t appeal to me as much. I feel the current iteration looks much better.
Not a fan of the interior redesign either. The Ambient lighting and the dashboard design in general, I like the current model over the 2025.
The Infotainment screen is bigger and has a few extra features but I have used it on my roommate’s 2024 330i and I don’t like the fact that everything is on the screen, no real buttons. Also, call me old fashioned but I somehow am not a fan of combining the Infotainment and the driver displays.
I’m waiting to see the 2025 in person. I’m not sure if the new hybrid engine is more or less reliable than the tested one on the 2024. I’m guessing it’s the same hybrid engine that’s in the X5? Also, does the discount on the 2024 get eaten up by depreciation because it will be an older model in 4 or 5 years? I would be doing a custom order if I get the 2024, since I wad DDP, trailer hitch, spare tire, Premium Pkg, Harmon Kardon, Red int/whit ext.
Yeah. The Hybrid is probably worth waiting for but I still haven’t been able to like the redesign.
It is an X3 at the end of the day that’s being replaced so I knew what I was getting into in terms of depreciation.
Like you said, my discount may get eaten up by depreciation but I feel I’ll be in a much better position 4-5 years down the line because of the 12% discount.
If you’re doing a custom order, I don’t think you can get over 8% off. Maybe a broker can get you to 10%
