PM me if contact details needed. My salesman doesn’t want to be inundated so I respect that.
The deals on the Chevy Bolt are not as good as end of October, since the residual dropped 3% (or about $1300 more). However, I was able to find in North Texas, Dallas, a dealer who would closely replicate my deal (sales tax credits!) adjusted for current residual, for my friend. 2 dealers I reached out to in Dallas have $500-$1000 tint and protection on their cars. My dealer doesn’t and is happy to sell them that way. They also were happy to complete and print out all paperwork for the TX rebate (you need 2 copies of everything).
They are still offering 0.000001 MF on the one pay. And the dealership will take $3K on any credit card, and ALL of the one pay on AMEX. They have multiple colors still and are the most aggressive my friend and I could find.
Note the following:
Employee pricing discount DOES NOT apply for Leases at all. So no dealership will give you that extra $2.5-$3K that Chevy is advertising.
You can get more off if you have GM Supplier, First Responder, Educator etc. discount. Probably $300-$500? Not sure the amount.
October deals were all outside of Dallas as far as I could see. I had to drive 300 miles one way in a rental, pay for costs etc. So that added to my deal.
Costco $3K expires 1/4/21.
Texas $2500 rebate expires end of December 2020 unless renewed (must be received by 1/7/21)
There is a recall on 2017-2019 Bolts for fires. NOT the 2020. I personally am not concerned (my wife and I love our Bolt! And my other car is a BMW M4). However, if it gets bad, GM should take care of you. VW owners seemed to have made out like bandits with Dieselgate.

Not sure how aggressive they will get going into year end, but it seems to me that this could be near the peak. If they meet their numbers, they may be less so inclined. So I would hop on this with any dealership more quickly - and you get more time for the rebate.
Just to clarify things a bit for people looking at this, your actual dealer discounted selling price should be $38,850 and then you got the $11,250 in factory incentives. That’s still a 11.2% pre incentive discount, which is very good and consistent with most of the “good to great” Bolt deals we’ve seen! Breaking the incentives out of the selling price helps give people an idea of what to target on the dealer end, especially since not everyone will qualify for the same incentives all the time.
The Light-Duty Motor Vehicle Purchase or Lease Incentive Program (LDPLIP) provides rebate incentives statewide to persons who purchase or lease an eligible new light-duty motor vehicle powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), or hydrogen fuel cell or other electric drive (plug-in or plug-in hybrid). This website will provide you with useful information about the program, eligibility, and how to apply
Incentives expire 1/4. So a few days left. At this time, you should consider overnighting rebate paperwork. So sign and drive by 1/4/21, overnight paperwork to be received by 1/7/21.
