No conquest? You don’t have a 2010+ car?

This math isn’t mathing cz this deal is like out of this world lmaooo… if u have a bolt it’s 500$ :exploding_head::face_with_peeking_eye:.

Saw 5k5 pre rebate before but that’s in August only… 5k pre rebate is mind blowing.

Great deal! Congrats, and thanks for sharing all the details!

Quick question: Was the $3,450 the total amount you paid to the dealer, with all fees and taxes included, or were there any additional charges beyond that? I noticed there is no tax listed on the contract copy, so I was curious if you had to pay anything extra besides the $3,450. Thanks!

All taxes included. I didn’t pay anything else

The deal is simply calculated “wrong”. Even DMV fees were wrong and indeed no tax was added in this deal at all (should be 1.2%). It’s one of those that dealership decided to eat the cost type of deal, I hope Jose still has the job lol. They are losing about ~$600 because of the errors.

Edit: looks like dude is in used car department now. Not sure about how the dealership hierarchy goes but definitely no longer a new car sales.

Thank you for the explanation!

OP is definitely lucky to have secured that deal, while I was not as fortunate. When I tried to replicate OP’s price, a dealer agreed to that amount before I visited, promising it would include TTL. However, once I arrived, they attempted to charge an additional $3,000 in taxes on top of the $3,450 one-pay lease, referring to the extra $3,000 as a “first payment.”

You need lender’s credit in TX, which GMF does offer.

Before my visit, they actually pulled my credit, and I passed the GMF. However, they still insisted on charging the full tax at 6.25%. I even explained the 1.2% tax rate, but they refused to adjust it accordingly.

Any idea whether dealers have fewer credits as we approach end of calendar year? Or is there allotment/supply fairly consistent? Chevy Equinox EV 2024 in particular.

Texas sales tax 6.25% I get that and don’t see that in the contract. What is the 1.2% you all are refering too?

Thanks!

FYI.

impossible to replicate this deal in Houston

What about this?
