GM just told me no. 3 month max extension. No extra miles.
Update, the negative rent charge was where they made a mistake. Got sent a revised doc for $112 a month after making the rent charge positive.

Tried to extend mine (originally 24/12k) ZDX Aspec, they quoted me at 350/mo, they set my residual to about 30k at the end of the extension. Not sure why they setting it that low, assuming its because my original contract term was 12k miles as opposed to 7500 or 10k
What was the original payment? What was original residual? I’m trying to get a handle on how AFS is figuring out the extensions. I have a $299/month payment on a 24/10K lease due the first week of March 2027 and would extend it for a year if price was right.
Mine from my original deal was residual $34226(24/12k), 8300 one pay They then quoted my new residual for end of the 12mo extension at about 30. That with their rent charge was came out to 350/mo. I guess they worked the terms to match what I paid roughly per month
They somehow cancelled a fully executed extensions signed by both parties. I wonder if that was even in their powers. You have the power to cancel any month, it didn’t say they can cancel outright.
What’s stopping them from making your 1xx payment to 3xx suddenly cuz they feel like it again!

If you are a regular lease vs one pay, it may resume the same payments. Most of the discussions here are for a one pay lease. For me, I have a regular lease and they kept the same payment amount based on a $300 decrease in residual ($25/mo) over the extension year. So, the rest of monthly payment (~$115) was rental.
Wow. My lease is up in May '27. My residual is $30,000 (+ Tax). I did a one-pay. I hope that offer still stands when i am ready to find a new lease. This is the gift that keeps on giving.

I had signed my doc (which they never signed) and then One day later received this.
So Im not signing this obviously. I just hope they are not automatically forcing me to changed terms without my consent

Seems like they reverse-engineered the residual value to match what’s basically is your current effective monthly.
that Makes it effective 343.69
7590/24 is 316.25 which is off be Pennie’s to what they quoted
So I guess they used this for base payment
I called Honda Financial today regarding my Honda Prologue lease and lease end options to extend. They said there is nothing new being offered related to extending. I can extend for 1 to 12 months at the same monthly lease payment, which was the case 18 months ago when I first leased the car. They said Honda deals and Acura deals are separately determined. FWIW.
So how much would your payment be? I did a one pay for 4800 but only 2500 went to honda. the rest went to doc and reg and etc. So do we divided the 2500 by 24= 104 and that 104 will be the effective payment for an additional 12 months?
With things changing, it would be best to contact Acura Finance and they can tell you the exact amount. So far, it seems that if you are on traditonal lease, the payments are the same during the extension. For one pay leases, they are assessing the new residual after one year then add in the rent charge.
OP and I have have similar one pay and residual at end of lease but their payment is like 1/3 of what I got even with revised numbers
So it’s all over the place, no logical math

The agent on phone will tell you one set of numbers
They will email you extension paperwork at diff numbers
Then send you correspondence later with diff numbers lol
