I signed a contract for a 2019 BMW 540i with beautiful blue color. It was a loaner with 3100 miles on it. This is the deal I got with royalty incentive.

The finance manager told me that the maintenance package on this car is not transferable and I need to purchase the package for $1400. She mentioned for instance, at about 20,000 miles, the breaks should be changed and all that would cost more than $2000 and this type of maintenance will be covered under this plan. At the end, I put down $1000 for this package in addition to my $2k down …
Also I highly doubt you’ll need brakes by 20k. And the maintenance package when I got my car last year was 600. You helped her hit her monthly quota… I believe you can cancel the warranty you purchased and others would prob agree that it’s not worth it.
Think they pulled a sales tactic on you. Ive had few bmw leases never once did I have to replace breaks after even driving 36000… think they got you in that one. I do think it’s pretty lame the breaks warranty doesn’t transfer. I hope the engine warrant transfers . I know the oil changes are still covered.
You should probably cancel the maintenance+ you got from the dealer. It should cost about $700 base, if it’s a new car you’ll get the option to buy it by email. I don’t think you need it, makes sense on an SUV, but sedan will probably be fine as long as you aren’t tracking it.
Oh brother these dealers and wanting to sell these stupid unnecessary care packages. I with agree notal save your green relax and cancel that ish… its a waste unless you plan on being a getaway driver. Besides that you did well on this deal… enjoy & post some pics if possible would love to see it.
