Signed - '25 Polestar 3 LRDM Pilot/Plus/Pro - 27/12k - $3,583 DAS ($583/mo + 5xMSDs)

Thanks to the help of Quentin @nyclife I secured a solid deal for a Polestar 3. $583/month with first month’s and MSDs due at signing, 27/12k. Quentin responded in a timely manner, and made everything quite straightforward. They definitely get a recommendation from me.

I received the vehicle at a Volvo dealership outside Newark airport, with no complications.

I am enjoying the wool seat material even more than expected; it will certainly be more comfortable in the summertime than the black synthetic leather would have been.

Having charged only one time so far, at a Tesla station using the Volvo-supplied NACS-CCS adapter, I received solid charging performance, ramping right up to 205 kW at 35% SoC. No, it’s nowhere near what Hyundai/Porsche achieve, but will be acceptable.

Not listed in the calculator is the $999 broker fee, which brings the effective cost up $37/month.

Apologies for the mediocre photos; only had it for 2 days before I had to go to work. Will update later.

As always, I appreciate the community.

10% off MSRP is fantastic! I have only seen around 8%. I’m currently on the market for one.

I didn’t know brokers could be helpful for polestar; it seemed like they are like teslas in that way… Is that actually room to negotiate?

They want you to think they have fixed pricing, but realistically it is negotiable because it is a dealer franchise type business underneath the cosmetic layer.

Does anybody know of any Polestar brokers for California?

I looked in Marketplace and none show up. I just test drove one on Friday. Seems like the lease incentives seem worse for February vs the January quote I saw.

I also test drove one over the weekend in socal. Loved the car but unfortunately the lease price is too high.

Does anyone have any lease brokers working with Polestar 3s right now?

@nyclife Probably still can, but let me tell you what: I regret selling my V60 Polestar for this. The Polestar 3 has endless tech/software grimlins requiring rebooting the car multiple times per week

Even worse news is the V60 Polestar is done in the US, and there are 0 new ones on the ground.

I had an appointment to test drive on Friday and after 40 mins of waiting past my scheduled time and speaking by phone with my advisor twice, I left. Hopefully the newly minted head of US sales gets the experience consistent.

Same reason I’m getting out of my V60. Sounds like I dodged a bullet. I heard good things about this latest software update. Polestar has Tata under contract for the Infotainment software, hopefully they get that fixed for you in the next update.

At least it looks good.

FYI @nyclife never responded to my messages asking about a Polestar lease, I’m guessing because they won’t ship to the west coast and don’t deal with any dealers here. I haven’t found any brokers that do so far.

Same. No response. Scammer?

Are you dense? I’m the OP and used @nyclife for the deal I shared.

given the evolution of this forum over the past year+, not unlikely.

Highly doubt they’re a scammer.

If you hunt around, you can get some decent polestar deals without a broker. However, I would strongly advise caution with polestar. I ordered a P3 with “Immediate Delivery” and home delivery from the dealer to my city, and since then, I’ve had to call them for any updates, and much, much worse, the time frame they’ve given me for P3 deliveries has gone from a day or two until ready for delivery, to 3-4 weeks, to two months, and now “indefinite delay”. At each step they’ve tried to get me to swap to much more expensive “ready-to-go” cars. They also told me it’s possible my Tesla Conquest won’t be honored if delivery goes into April.

Given current deals, I’m strongly considering canceling my order and going with a different car if things don’t start making progress. Also makes me very worried about service and maintenance experience given the dealers apparently have no insight into where your car is in the service queue.
