Shout out to @leo.lam for his insights and the incredibly generous discussion and time spent going over options and reasonable leases for August w/ BMW. Dude is truly a selfless, generous, and incredibly knowledgeable individual. I was actually inspired by our conversation enough to go chase a deal on my own and landed a killer one on a really great car. I don’t mind putting in the work and learning in the process and Leo was generous enough to challenge me to do so.

This car was a service loaner and came with 5720 miles. Dealer provided the inspection sheet, carfax, and all the goodies. Clean title and incredibly immaculate car.

Overall, a pretty seamless process with the dealer. Closed the deal in less than 6 hours with home delivery and never stepping foot inside the dealership. The biggest obstacle of this car buying process was me trying to convince myself to take on the liability of leasing a loaner. I quickly realized that with higher end vehicles - the risk is low of abuse and misuse. Especially this particular dealer.

The choice was easy over the '26 iX45 I was chasing for a HIGHER payment w/ 0DAS than this fully loaded model that might not have the “best in class” range and comes with slightly used tires (tread on average is >8), but with knowing how to drive these cars to stretch the mileage and the fact that the thing is decked out, I couldn’t pass it up.

I must say it is great to know there is a strong community around car leasing ensuring those that want to continue to learn, have a space to do so. I have been leasing for over 12 years now and this has to be one of the best deals I have ever scored.
