Same , they didn’t tell me until I asked to clarify. If I had not asked, they would not have told me!
I read over the lease contract - I cannot find any definitions of when the yearly limit beings. At zero or at the designated mileage reported at the top of the contract. Seems like they left it vague on purpose?
Regardless - I wanted to push for more money off, but the wife was happy with the current price. She’s very happy with the car as am I. Driving 1/3 of the way back with SuperCruise was a delight.
Hopefully I can talk her into loving the Rivian R2 even more when it comes out and we can no longer deal with stealerships. What a dishonest business model.
I haven’t tried the supercruise yet, I’m still scared haha.
I love the Rivian’s as well, that will hopefully be my next move but I am really loving my Lyriq right now.
Did you guys do the qmerit or the EvGo?
If I remember correctly, the lease contract should have what the end of lease odometer reading should not exceed. This of course, would tell you if the loaner miles are taken into account.
The Lyriq is a great car, we definitely love it!
SuperCruise is great. Much more advance than Rivian’s current Driver+ system.
We’re doing the qMerit $1500 credit to get a 2nd charger installed. I was tempted to get the EvGo, but I rather get another charger. Wbu?
Yeah I would expect it to say not to exceed 24,000 miles or 24 + the initial odo reading, but I cant find that anywhere. I’ll try to read through the small print again or upload it all and have ChatGPT give it a read for me.
We went with the EvGo since we already have a 240v outlet in our garage. Whenever I stop at the EvGo chargers, I see at least 1-2 other Lyriqs
Here is the lease contract on the only loaner I have leased. This was from March of '20 on a BMW X5. On the first page of the lease agreement, it lists the current miles at 2282. On the second page of the lease agreement under “Optional Products and Services…Milage Allowance/Refund” it lists the end of lease miles shall not exceed 32,283. This was a 10k/yr lease.
I wish I could replicate this again

Thanks for providing that example.
I’ve scanned my lease and had chatgpt re-read it for myself. It also came to the same conclusion. The lease does not explicitly state starting from 0. It also does not explicitly state starting from the odometer. But the odometer reading is included as the start date of the contract - which I would bet would imply 12K miles after the fact. Not including those miles. But I’m no lawyer. Which contradicts the Cadillac’s Financial Advisor’s statements.
The dealer website or the official GM Cadillac website? Is it a pop-up message? Maybe I need to turn-off my pop-up blocker.
What’s the monthly?
That’s with the trio applied? Costco, Supplier and Conquest? It’s not bad for a Lux3 (resid is worse) and with 15k mi
If no supplier, I’d say it’s a good deal but post the calculator
it looks like a good deal to me. 14.7% off msrp before incentives.
Austin Caddy Dealers
I saw it there. Thanks! Also saw a banner that they deliver cars anywhere in Texas so it could be an option for cross-shopping for people in DFW, Houston and San Antonio.
