Signed: '24 Dodge Hornet RT Plus | MSRP $52,180 | 24/10 | $96.68/mo $96.68 DAS (DEAL IS DEAD - NO MORE INVENTORY)

uh…I just signed a lease. It’s 63% for 24/10 for RT Plus. Where are you getting 53%?

As I mentioned previously, this was a private TDM sent to my email after signing up for the Dodge email list. The one on the website does say it doesn’t apply to RT models, but others have had luck getting it accepted by the dealer’s validation tool. But, YMMV.

Edmunds. I just asked for lease numbers for this month for 24/10 and they provided 53%. I then went to the dealer and they quoted the same 53% (actually reduced to 51% because I wanted 12k miles). Id LOVE to get 63%!!!

EDIT: to clarify, this is for 2024’s. They only offered higher residual on the 2025’s. Perhaps thats the big change for April? Did you officially lease in March or April? I wonder if the residual dropped significantly and thats whats killing these deals?

Unless it like JUST changed (tariff response?), because even on the LH calculator, it still shows 63% for both SFS and CCAP. And the dealer I’m referring people to is still using 63% AFAIK.

where on edmunds are you seeing 53%?, i just looked and its showing 61% which is still wrong. the numbers for the 2025 arent out yet. rate findr and auto ninjas is showing 63%

also i just got a 1k coupon from dodge including all hornet models, it came a few days after i made an account

You got CCAP when you need to use SFS.
Edit: Yeah, CCAP also shows 63%

That’s what I originally thought, too @Ursus . But then I looked at the LH Calc, and it shows 63% for both SFS and CCAP. But I think that’s wrong. I seem to remember CCAP being 53% but with a better MF. But maybe I’m remembering wrong…

that makes sense, i heard some dealers dont use sfs

I just got that coupon too. Read the fine print. It says, applies “Hornet Models GT and GT Plus” and specifically doesnt mention the R/T or R/T plus. Have a look at the screenshots below:

Ok, here’s a noob question for ya! If the CCAP is 63% and MUCH better than SFS at 53%, why would Edmunds just quote me the latter? And do all buyers have the choice of going with either? Clearly, I’d want to go with the better MF and better RV.

can you send the link to edmunds page your looking at, im only seeing sfs numbers on this one

it’s actually that CCAP was 53% and SFS was 63%. It’s different lenders who have different programs. They also have different money factors, and usually lower residuals have lower money factors as well. But there are times that CCAP might approve someone for their programs, while SFS won’t, and vice-versa. I don’t know why Edmunds may have given you the 53% number. I’d follow-up with them directly on their forum.

I just scanned the Edmunds forum, and it looks like the RT+ RV went down to 61%. Ouch. Must have just happened.

I don’t see anyone ask them about RVs and a response of 53%. Are you sure you were looking at the right car @Lovesadeal ?

Turns out the damn dealer was using the RV for only the GT even though we were looking at both a GT and an RT!
I asked to speak directly with finance manager so I could see his breakdown and the salesman just replied, “look, we’ll never get close to the deal you want, I dont think this will work realistically”.
To specify, I was just asking to remove the nonsense $3k “dealer appearance” crap, provide 20% off MSRP (given 2024 & 427 days on the lot), then honor incentives and simply run the lease numbers.
I dont think the salesperson understood half of what I was saying though. Also, tis particular dealer has 3 unsold 2023’s and 7 unsold 2024’s likely because they do not do good deals. Every other dealer is out of stock within 250 miles of me and only has 2025’s at this point.
Lastly, I asked and it turns out Edmunds can ONLY quote SFS numbers and doesnt have access to CCAP. They advise to check both for the better deal but also that they do not have CCAP numbers.
This is what they just provided me:

Also, for 24/10k miles, the RV is close to OP’s.

Those are my exact numbers; I just had an RV adjustment because of loaner miles; there is an adjustment depending on the number of miles the car has accumulated while in service.

But I just saw posts today on Edmunds, and it looks like the RV might have dropped. Best to check.

By the way, if any of you have an existing Stellantis lease (or completed one in the last 12 months), you will come out VERY well. There is an SFS Lease Loyalty rebate of $2000. And don’t forget military of $500 or first responder of $500. I didn’t qualify for any of those.

Here’s a dealer’s site that has a good list of all the current incentives laid out clearly: Vehicle Incentive Specials | Crystal Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge Center

Wait, is that $7000 incentive = $6500 ev rebate + $500 dodge days?
