SIGNED: 2026 VW Atlas SEL Premium R\-Line — $660/month, $0 DAS

I went in hoping to combine VW’s subsidized money factor, available lease cash and the Costco offer, while pushing for a discount on a 2026 before the 2027s arrive in a few months.

● MSRP: $58,085

● Selling price: $55,167

● 36 months / 7,500 miles

● MF: .00131

● Residual: 62%

● Tax: 9.75%

● $0 out of pocket

The contract shows $4,173.29 in “rebates and noncash credits”: $2,500 toward the cap cost and $1,673.29 covering the first payment, taxes and registration. I thought the available incentives were only around $3,000. Did the dealer contribute the difference to make it $0 DAS?

How would you grade the deal?

62% residual and the MF isn’t bad. Dealer discount was 5%, maybe a bit more on the bone. $1250 Costco credit, and $1000 lease credit. I wonder what else they used, maybe they pulled it from the sales price. Your price includes tax, so closer to $600 which isn’t bad with 0 DAS.

Come here before signing next time. The discount is weak

My first question would be, why did you pick an unhackable car?

Well your options are limited when you are expecting a third kid and need to fit three car seats. To me this was the best option over financing an expedition or Tahoe. Feel like a got a pretty good deal for an unhackable car but that’s just me!

That’s a lot of money for an Atlas but if you are happy with the deal that is great. Enjoy your new VW.

We try to be helpful, on certain cars they’re just not that hackable. Given the constraints on this car (decent residual, average MF, not that many rebates) it’s not awful IMO. Upfront discount isn’t bad, but you have more rebates that I see available, so not sure how they worked it.

If you could have swung an EV, then EV9 isn’t bad right now. Enjoy the Atlas and we’ll look forward to helping you on your next lease
