Started in Florida on a mission to pull ahead a 2024 XC90 Recharge Plus. Found one dealer in Florida that might have gone 10.75% dealer discount, but salesperson was difficult. Other Florida dealers ranged from only $1000-$7500 off. On to Georgia and found the deal at 11% off. Put down $7500 MSD and had $3500 loyalty, $2000 Costco, $1750 lease and $500 A-plan.
Nice data point. Exactly where these should lease imo.
I’m curious…Wouldn’t $7000 in MSDs be due? Your payment is $669 and the max is 10x. Correct?
Correct. But the funny thing is that MSDs on my last XC90 was also $500 more with zero DAS. Not sure why, but that’s how it was calculated.
MSDs are probably based on the pre-MSD or maybe pre-incentive monthly payment amount. At least that was the case the one and only time I did them with Mercedes years ago.
That’s how Mercedes does them, but with Volvo it should be based on monthly payment after rate reduction.
I think some dealers think it’s the other way, but I suspect Volvo doesn’t audit these too closely.
Interesting points. I was so focused on the dealer discount that I didn’t think much of the $7500. I’d had quotes into the $800 payment range, so I saw as much as $8500 and it didn’t register. I’ll ask the dealer Tuesday.
Doesn’t really matter, you get these $500 back anyway.
I am trying to negotiate for my sister. An awd volvo xc 40.
Realistically what should I be landing on for a lease on a 48k msrp car.
You are a super supporter, so you have access to the lease programs on ratefindr. If you search the marketplace and signed deals database, what pre-incentive discount do you see common amongst existing deals or broker offerings? You can utilize this along with the lease programs in the calculator to create a target deal.
