I was actually shopping for a Wind/Land and the best I found in the southeast was $500 down and $450/month for the Wind and $650/month with $650 down on a Land with Nightfall package. And just to get those quotes, I must have contacted about a dozen dealerships.
I told the dealer with the Wind quote that my wife and I would take that deal the following day if we couldn’t find a Land trim closer to $550/month. He responded and said he had a GT Line ready to go for that price if I could sign asap - and they would deliver the car themselves from 250 miles away. I haven’t found anything that low outside of states with large rebates that most simply don’t have. Anyway, super excited to get it tomorrow and I’ll post some pics when it arrives!

Can you break down the incentives please ?
I thought the lease cash is only $12100 ?
It was definitely a one-off. There was $2500 extra in flex cash rebate the dealer attached onto the 12k.
They only have two Wind models left. If you want one of those, just message me. From my first call to e-signing was probably 2 hours. Easiest deal of my life.
I reached out to the dealer and confirmed that you “used up all their dealer cash” and “they lost so much on the deal” that they had to jack up the remaining ones. He quoted me the last WIND at $660 a month?! He did say that if they still had the WIND next month maybe their would be some more cash incentives (or rebates?) from Kia.
Looking at your contract it looks like not only did they throw in that extra $2500 incentive but you also got a hefty pre-incentive discount (7.52%).
I’m not in a rush to replace my current lease but I need gas prices to come back down so people go back to ignoring EV’s.
Yes, most dealers try to pass off rebates as “discounts” and it’s annoying having to spell out my offers. Also, it’s rarely good to reference leasehackr deals; it never seems to work which is why most people don’t like to share the dealer info and potentially poison the well. I send offers via text/email and any phone call I make is about getting my offer to a sales manager instead of a sales person.
In your case, I would have called to get the email of a manager on staff and at work TODAY and to let them know my offer was coming in on stock# xxxxx. Then write up a clear offer with MSRP, discount, rebates, your zip code for tax purposes, and the resulting payment you’re targeting.

Great example of why asking for dealer info is useless. Just bc they do a deal once, doesn’t mean they want to blow out the remaining inventory the same way and lose money. Use the datapoint to find the next dealer willing to deal.

OP made it sound like the dealer was willing to work this deal with remaining inventory, which is the reason I contacted them.
Yeah, honestly I thought they wanted to move them, which is why I suggested the DM instead of posting it and flooding the dealer with calls. I’ve seen this happen before with other deals though; they might be willing to lose big on one, but not multiple. Hope you find a deal on one though!
