As many here my Unicorn 2024 EQS SUV Lease is coming to an end and was looking for a 6 seater to replace it at similar price that I had it, however, as many of you know that market is long gone together with the incentives and now EVs are “cool” again as gas prices rose which made my job extra hard.
After calling dealers all over USA, was able to find a dealer close enough that was willing to work with me and got me to a number that was good enough for me to sign. The main issue was that only about 250 2026 Vistiqs left in USA and the 2027s are coming only in couple of months so it was a Sellers Market for sure.
Here are the details:
24/10 Lease
2026 Cadillac Vistiq Luxury AWD Dual tone Radiant Red with Black Roof, Light Gray interior
They dealer has one last demo Vistiq to move, so dm me if you want the details. They will likely not discount it as much as they did mine, but you can probably still get a good deal.
Thanks for posting, and congratulations! I’ve actually been keeping an eye on the Vistiq myself and am considering one when my EQS SUV goes back next February. I’m hoping the incentives improve a bit by then, especially since I qualify for GMS, which has traditionally come with some additional cash on the hood.
Curious to hear your thoughts… how does the Vistiq compare to the EQS SUV now that you’ve spent some time with it?
I was looking to stay at the same “luxury” level the EQS was and i would say that the Vistiq is doing a good job at that.
It’s very nice to drive, accelerates way faster than the EQS, higher sitting position. I drove it 200 miles in the last couple of days and its been very comfortable and somewhat comparable ride to the EQS.
Some Pros:
The one pedal is much better than EQS
Built in google is a blessing compared to the android auto experience on EQS
Massage seats are a nice feature
Taller driving position than EQS, more SUV like and less Minivan.
Very easy to manuever although the size
the 300 Mile range is pretty accurate and not inflated
The super cruise is so much better than the EQS version of it that you need to touch the wheel every 10 seconds
No ignition button, so once you sit down and press the brake it turns on, which is nice. You just park and leave to turn it off
I prefer the Vistiq handles over the Mercedes “it won’t chop my finger if I’m lucky” version
Cons:
Cabin noise is more prominent than the EQS, likely due to the tires
The ride quality is good on regular suspension but defiantly less “cloudy” than the air suspension of the EQS
The turning radius is larger than EQS
The moonroof controls are less intuitive than EQS
The screen system is a bit more complex than EQS but thats likey to the fact I’m used to MBUX and not used to GM products.
The audio quality is def not as good as the EQS, the AKG system is not as refined as the Buremester.
The 2nd row space is likely a bit smaller than the EQS likely since comparing 5 seater to 6 seater, not sure how it compares to the 7 seater EQS SUV.
Lack of cubby space, the eqs has relatively a lot of space in the front to put all the stuff like cups, bags, tissues and etc… The Vistiq only has a small storage space and 2 cups area in the middle and thats it, so have to resort to the doors storage.
All in all I’m pretty happy with it considering it’s the “base” version.
Hi there, trying to replicate a similar deal on a Vistiq loaner.
This is helpful as I didn’t realize Conquest stacked with supplier. I have conquest and am looking for a supplier code.
Do you mind taking a look if this calculator seems right? I guessed on dealer fees and I’m also in CA so brutal tax rate.
Also, I’ve never bought a loaner before. I see the calculator adds the loaner credit on top of the discounted buy price, but I assume in practice the dealer is simply accounting for that incentive when agreeing to the deeply discounted buy price.
Some dealers will tell you that you can either choose supplier pricing or their pricing and won’t let you use it, while others don’t mind stacking all incentives. The calculator is somewhat correct, but I would imagine you will have more fees there, and also not sure what the $2000 of untaxed you added.
Yes, they will deduct from the residual value the amount of miles, and whatever incentive they get/give will be applied to sales price.
