Signed: 2025 Volvo EX90 Ultra Perf 6 Seat: $980/mo - $0 DAS

MSRP $94,060 with agreed value $84,060. Term is 36/10. Added Excess Wear plan for $2,200. Monthly payments are $1,008 which reduces to $980 effective after accounting for the 1st month free under Sign & Drive promotion.

Credits include Costco Exec, A-Plan, Conquest, and $11,000 others, which might include $2,500 of Bonus Dealer Cash (Rate Findr showed allowance of $7,500 + $1,000 plus $2,500 dealer cash).

Overall satisfied with the deal and so far happy with the car - no serious bugs yet.

Enjoy you EX90. I think all the 25s are still pending a brain transplant but good yours hasn’t had any issues yet.

What’s in the dealer fees? California is only $85 for doc fees…that’s a massive mark-up.

Looks like it’s the Excess Wear plan they mentioned.

Good call. I missed that!

The dealer markup includes excess wear and use plan. I’d be curious to know how much others are typically paying for that. My effective cost for the plan was about $1,400 when compared to the original total agreed cost for the lease. Initially I agreed to a marked up money factor in exchange for the headline discount of $10k. In closing the deal and adding the package, the dealer slightly reduced the money factor.

Last time I added W&T the cost was about half that

2 years ago I paid $750 for my XC90 T8.

IMO cancel the excessive wear plan. Can’t imagine what damage you think you’ll incur which will exceed $2200?

Will probably leave as-is. My cost was $1,400 including rent and my spouse is satisfied with the cost and the coverage. FWIW the coverage limit is $7,500 which is ridiculous - not even Lucid customers are getting hit for that much. It may also be higher than in previous years.

My two most likely charges are curb rash and tires below their wear limit. We’re also prone to door dings. My last car got a cracked headlight lens in the first few thousand miles due to road debris. Maybe next time the peace of mind can be bought more cheaply, if at all.

I’m just curious. Are you going to use it?

Do you have damages after these 2 years?

I actually am. Have a ding on the back lower fender that happened in while I was parked at a mall. A little hard to tell but the end by the tire is dented.

Based on my experienece you would be charged for this like $400, or nothing if you will take another Volvo.

my $0.02

YMMV but I doubt you can get anywhere near 30,000 miles out of OE tires on such a heavy car.

So you’re either looking at replacing tires well before lease end or doing something very unadvisable which is driving on worn tires

You better read the fine print carefully…. There’s probably a limit per damage type/panel etc that would severely limit what is actually covered even if it’s 7,500 dollars in coverage.
