Signed: 2025 Volvo EX90 Ultra MSRP ~$86k | $455/Month effective only MSDs DAS | 24/10k

After being inspired by @Bostoncarconcierge ‘s post in August, decided to target EX90s. Waited until I got within 6 month pull ahead on my C40, and pulled the trigger. Dealer does not have anymore nor do they want to do any more deals like this. I think this was technically a demo but only 300 miles on it .

Bracing for potential software / electrical issues that have plagued many owners, however once Volvo announced they are replacing all central computers early next year, that gave me enough confidence to go ahead. I also have higher tolerance than most when it comes buggy software… FWIW, its still early but so far its been great. Software & UI is really snappy, and the ride and cabin are beautiful. Impressed by the air suspension so far. Hope Volvo gets their act together and fixes any outstanding issues.

This gives me hope. I am in almost the same position as you. 23’ C40 with 6 payments remaining. Want to stay EV but need more space. Nice job!

This discount will be hard to hit, but you should be at 10% off easy at the low end. Also, Mid atlantic region has extra 1k for loyalty, but thats kinda offset by higher fees.

@douglashowitzer omg it’s possible!!

The 19% you mean ?

Yes, with a nationwide hunt, it’s certainly possible .

Was this deal signed before Sep 30 and that is how you are getting the $7500? Or is Volvo still passing it on somehow to the customer?

This was an october deal. These are still being incentivized by Volvo.

Incredible deal… wonder if this is replicable in SoCal

Congrats! Post pics

Very nice great work!

Congrats OP , Can you please let me know where are you located and any other strategies that helped you

Location shouldn’t matter if you’re willing to travel a bit and/or ship. No special strategies beyond what is well established on this forum: make a well informed, actionable and unambiguous offer to dealer on specific stock number. Be willing to reach out to many dealers. Be flexible on color.

Edit: goes without saying, but be very polite and clear with your intentions. Many people want to “negotiate” and can come across combative. Remember: you are asking for a very aggressive discount. You have to know it takes special circumstances and timing to replicate a super aggressive deal.

thanks this is helpful

Any guesses what a reasonable discount on a loaner should be? There are a few in my area.

You can get new ones on here for 10%, so i’d want more than that if it was something with miles. You may want to reach out to a couple brokers to see if they have any ex demos/loaners.

Otherwise, snag a new one for 10% off.

im new to the forum , where can I find brokers ?
