I got this deal done late July. There is still some back and forth paperwork clean up and car issues to resolve with the dealer but figured it’s worth sharing now. Dealer is in VA and they delivered car to NC.
- Demo car with approx 4k miles.
- 45k selling price (pre incentives).
- $3k in Incentives/Rebates via Conquest + Supplier
- 24/10 One Pay of $5725

I used price of used optiqs on market to justify the 45k selling price (honestly could go lower!). Bought the car sight unseen but the car arrived with scratches and issues which the dealership will take care of once parts arrive. On the one hand, I am happy with the price, but unhappy that we have this back and forth with their collision center because dealership did not properly do the cleanup like they claimed they would (they agreed it was their mistake and are working to make it right). I was able to get an updated “We Owe” form into the lease paperwork as well noting all the fixes. Car drives fine but definitely a few noticeable scratches that should not be present, especially from a luxury car dealership.
Do y’all think I could request / likely receive a $500 courtesy credit (or some free accessories like floor mats) for all this extra follow up and trip to collision center for the inspection, repairs, etc? It’ll be 3-5 days of work once the parts arrive due to all the various scratches and issues that need to be corrected.
Regarding the search: I reached out to 6+ dealerships in NC / VA and found it crazy how many dealerships overvalue their Optiqs sitting on their lots for over 300 days. I asked all of them to make me an offer first and I replied with my counter only to those that seemed sensible and eager to make a deal in the first place (it’s a 2 way street!). Even with proper discussion and negotiation, one dealership priced and defended their $16k one pay final offer for their 2025 optiq sport 1 demo with 5k miles while the dealership less than an hour away priced me sub $6k. It seems most of the other demo optiqs or 300+ day new inventory I was targeting are still on the lot despite dealerships claiming they have interest at their current pricing (LOL).
I was hoping to get a 2026 optiq in this price range (residual and msrp are similar to 2025) but ultimately just wanted to end the search quickly and move on with my life.
Anyway, I’m happy my quest for the <$300/mo EV was successful and I dread doing this process again in 2 yrs.
