SIGNED: 2025 Mercedes Benz G580 $2,882 DAS, $2,053/month

Thank you for the constructive feedback and remaining critical without being negative. This car is growing on me with the tech and features but if it tanks like we assume, then no harm really done and G63, here we come! :raising_hands:t4:

Thank you!! :folded_hands:t4:

Thank you @Ice - it’s always an evolving work in progress. The garage keeps me humble considering I started off with a Honda Civic EX coupe in ‘99. I remind myself there’s always levels to this. Appreciate the positivity!

What’s the issue with helping people and charging for a service? Brokers do it, dealers do it, car salespeople do it but I do it to steer people away from getting jacked and all of a sudden it’s a focal point? The deal was factually hacked better than LH advertised deal a couple months ago (prove me wrong since it was a funny comment to you). Data is king! I used that as a reference point- again, could it have been sweeter than my $1,900 pre tax payment? Yes! I needed a specific config and got what was needed. Not everything boils down solely (ONLY) a unicorn deal. I think constructive feedback without being a jerk is a skill set many can learn. I’ve saved people thousands of dollars this year alone and my services were justified- hence the testimonials I finally wisened up to posting.

LH forum has become wild the last few years- I never tried to be a douche to anyone and would always be constructive but you guys are all sitting behind the keyboard with the opinion power of PJ from Exotic Car Hacks.

Can’t find a true sense of community anywhere in this world anymore- I guess that’s why The Car Hacker exists! :man_shrugging:t4:

I will politely disagree with you on that. LH forum is really the only place on the internet where you will get generally unbiased, honest truth. Take WCC for example- it’s turned into a shitty forum where dealers mostly try to peddle mediocre deals on unsuspecting buyers who think anything on there is a deal. Anyone who calls out a deal as being shit in that group is silenced and gaslit by other dealers. Or Reddit- some decent people in there who give good advice, but very little data points, just guys who think they know everything even though they haven’t bought anything in years. Also lots of gaslighting by people who work at dealers.

I agree maybe there can be some more politeness on here, but no where else will you get the most expertise. The replies on here have been backed up by data points and math. That’s the whole point of the forum. And there’s nothing wrong with splurging and getting the car you want- no one here is trying to tell you otherwise. But be prepared to get called out if you’re claiming something is a smart deal when it’s not.

Nothing wrong with that. I do love the car as well. However, you clearly aren’t just a “civilian” poster who is simply showing off his new car. If you are making claims about your hacking prowess and selling services on top of that, you may get some extra comments on your deal.

Anyway, enjoy the car. XOXO

It takes alot of courage to post an EV deal on here as of late, if the car is not “free” essentially then it can easily be dismiss as a good “hack” yet alone brilliant hack. This G580 lease could have been double if not for the resources that this site offers. Hey if you got a plan and the means to juggle such cars, then keep that YOLO moto rollin!

You don’t know who I am or what I do, so not sure why you’re trying to have a chicken measuring contest. Financing $205k at 6% for 72 months with 0% down puts you around $3500/mo with 6% tax included. Thats only $1400 more per month than your lease, or 50k over 3 years. So 3 years down the line you’re $125k into the car, and can sell it for 150-170 with relative ease. That’s an effective cost of about $40k ($1100/mo) on a much better car, versus you being locked in to this $75k on a 140-mile range G580.

If you can’t afford the larger outlay for the period of ownership, just say that. Enjoy your car! Just don’t lie to yourself that you’re some financial guru who tricked MBFS and got one over on them

Papi can you get a G63 for msrp?

Relatively easily, yes

This line of thinking is lost on people who choose a subpar strategy for cash flow reasons.

Can you get a G63 in every color? Asking for a friend.

I think having a rented urus and rented g wagon in the garage of a rented townhome is an example of poor cash flow strategy, which makes it odd that he peddles financial guru advice.

If 1500/mo diff in cash flow makes you do this or not you should prob not be pursuing 150+K cars IMO

God damn the fire on this thread. Let the guy enjoy what he got. 90% of the people who have posted are not even probably looking into leasing an electric G ever and the remaining 9% will only even consider leasing one is if it falls below $1000 with $0 das (keep it real fellas). So let the 1% get it and enjoy it.

Guy wanted a specic color combo / configuration and is paying an extra $200 a month for that , its fine !

No idea why ya’all gotta become financial advisors. I remember when the first EV deals were shared, members here were like Oh u should get ICE not EV etc. Just move on fellas.
