SIGNED: 2025 Mazda CX70 PHEV Premium Plus MSRP: $59,530 / 24/12 / $0 Drive-Off / $571/mo (w/o tax)

I think I did alright - several Mazda dealers wouldn’t share numbers unless I was physically there.

That mf is insane. 14% what is that?

How do you like it? I’m shopping one myself.

Very pleased so far - it handles really well for it’s size and I have used maybe 2 gallons of gas over the 200 miles I’ve driven it…I wish it was about 10" shorter, however. I’m coming from an Alfa Romeo Stelvio but needed more space. This fits the bill without me having to jump up classes to an X5. Oddly, it’s gotten the most attention out of all the cars I’ve owned while being the most pedestrian.

It’s kind of a niche car with CX90 being virtually the same but with a 3rd row. However, I prefer the subtle styling differences, have no desire for a 3rd row, and have a dog that likes to lay down in the car, which is a bit difficult with the rear captains chairs found in the CX90. The interior in both the 70 and 90 is impressive at any price point.

Reviewers tend to point out the main flaws being the transmission and the infotainment system. While the transmission is definitely not as good as the ZF in the Alfa, I haven’t had as many qualms as the reviewers tend to point out. Additionally, I don’t care about infotainment since the creation of Carplay, which wirelessly connects almost instantaneously when starting the car.

This is where the dealer made all its money…i am sure this not Mazda MF

The CX90 is cheaper unless you have specific needs like the OP does.

Is this why I had so much trouble getting the calculator to work? This was the most competitive quote I could get after getting 3 others.

They had a $199/mo $2K down special on CX90’s in the Preferred (aka lowest) trim. I can’t really take their word for it, but two of the dealers told me that the 70 and 90 would be pretty similar price-wise in the highest trim, which I went for.

I’m sure it doesn’t help that the 70’s only been out for like 6/7 weeks now, versus the year + the 90’s been out.

Mazda makes good cars - they handle well

After looking at your contract, they never gave you any percentage off MSRP, your calculator can use some help, you only had the incentives which seems ok to make the deal come down for what probably would have been an +$800 monthly on this vehicle which makes sense given is a 2025 model…dealers will not just give much away on such a newer year model

Recent Colorado leasee here! Just saw your deal and was trying to reverse engineer your lease calculator and finally figured it out. While you had $0 at drive off, the dealer used $11,383.69 of your $12,850 incentive to lower the cost of the vehicle. The remaining incentive paid your 1st payment and taxes due on the cap cost reduction which was $1,466.31. See calculations below!
