MSRP was $59,530. Including $400 in trade equity, it was discounted down to $52,100. (12.4% off)
Additional incentives were $7,500 in lease cash (EV credit pass-through), $2,500 in customer cash, and $1,500 loyalty.
It all came out to $259 a month with $2,475 in MSDs.
They bought out my 22 CX-5 Signature lease 4 months early as well. I was way under in mileage so I was able to get out of the lease early and get $400 in equity.
Historically, I’ve had access to e-plan pricing with Mazda through a friend but this time I went it alone. I didn’t even have to negotiate this one- several dealers in my area seemed to be heavily discounting them.
It’s a great car. Not as nimble as my old CX-5 given it’s a lot heavier and bigger but far, far more storage and space and much nicer inside. Also get ~30 miles of range on a full charge and good fuel economy when taking road trips. It’s perfect for a family. The CX-90 PHEV didn’t have near the same incentives this did and we didn’t need the third row.
Thanks to the community. I’ve been a long-time lurker and have had a couple CX-5 leases before this, but I never would have jumped on this if I didn’t see some good deals on here.
You have done better than I did back in September and I had the $5k state incentive thrown into the deal as well. Congrats! It is a great car for the money, just a little bit unrefined with the shifts in the EV mode and the steering effort is too high for parking lot maneuvers…
I heard they released a TSB recently to address the shifting issue. I think my car already had the updated software but you likely got yours before it came out so I’d check with the dealer.
Yeah- I think they missed the mark a tad on making the steering feel artificially heavy at low speeds. I know Mazda is sporty and all but it’s a 5,000lb family hauler…
Lock to lock it takes more turns than any vehicle I have owned. Plus the leather they used on the steering wheel is very slippery, almost impossible to do parking lot maneuvers with one hand.
