- 24 mos / 12k miles
- MSRP: $60,534
- Selling price: $55,962 ($4,572 dealer discount; called several local and out of state dealers, this was by far the largest dealer discount I was able to find)
- Incentives: $17,750 (incl. federal $7,500; Hyundai adds ~$10k additional)
- Taxes & title: $1,820 (in VA, we pay taxes upfront on the selling price)
- Fees: $1,598 ($650 origination fee & $948 doc fee)
- Add-ons: $1,153 (excess wear & tear, and road hazard (was this dumb?) Added $10/mo after MF adjustment (see below). $240 for $10k in coverage seemed worth it)
- Cap Cost: $39,509.09
- Residual: 57% (Standard HMF for this trim)
- MF: 0.00232 (this is the HMF buy rate in Aug for Limited AWD. The sales mgr had said 0.00252 was the lowest he could do, but the F&I guy lowered it to the buy rate conditional on my including the W&T and road hazard coverage)
- Extras: $400 charging credit or L2 charger (Hyundai promo) (EDIT: turns out this promo has ended)
- Calculator
- Deal details (contract, etc)
Thanks for sharing.
Not familiar with VA market specifically, but seems like a great deal.
I’m pretty sure that free charging credit offer expired last month though.
Thanks! New to negotiating leasing, but I feel pretty gratified that I was able to beat the LH pre-negotiated deals and the broker deals I found here on LH.
Re the charging credit, that’s what I thought too. But it’s still listed on the Hyundai site? Vehicle Charging Benefit | Hyundai USA
Ohh, looking at the T&C there, it looks like it’s only for cars purchased through July 31. They must keep it up for those new owners to redeem.
Thank you for sharing your deal info. I am also in VA looking for a Limited AWD. I just sent you a private message.
Nice deal!
@joehuman, PM sent for dealer info
@joehuman, Congrats! Sent you a PM on dealer info. Thanks!
@joehuman Thanks for posting your deal as I was shopping for a 2025 Limited AWD the same time you posted this. I went into Alexandria Hyundai dealership with your post and contract printed out and told them just give me the same deal. They seemed reluctant at first but matched the deal, only difference was that I capitalized the taxes and dealer fees into my lease. They gave me the same spiel about needing to get the wear & tear and wheel protection to lower the money factor but I suspect that might not be true. I believe Hyundai gives you 30 days to cancel that coverage and I don’t see how they can void the signed deal if I cancel the coverage.
@vhatewer Hey nice! Glad to hear that worked out for you.
Interesting about having time to cancel the addl coverage. Given traffic and parallel parking in & around DC, the coverage seems to make sense for me. But will reconsider now.
It sounds like you took it as well - are you planning on canceling it?
I have not decided yet if I am going to cancel. There was a mishap with my paperwork and I had to go back to redo it all, so the finance person gave me windshield and key replacement for no cost so I would lose that as well if I cancel. I might just keep it even though it seems like it just a way for them to make more money as it gives me a little more peace of mind. Agree with the commuting and driving in DC.
For anyone using this deal in VA, I just gave a dealer these numbers and was called out for using a quote that they gave to someone with cancer. It was very awkward. I’m not sure if that’s OP or someone who used OP’s quote and said they were sick. But a warning for those looking to get this quote.
That’s definitely not my situation.
