Signed: 2025 Hummer EV SUT 2X - One pay, $606/mo $14556

Have been lurking for a while trying to make a deal happen. Really wanted the SUV originally but King County WA RTA Tax, and the exemption for trucks >6000lbs meant the SUT was just such a better deal.

Called around a bunch but had to travel to OR and drive it back up. There might have still been more meat on the bones of this deal but my goal number had been get me into the “500s” on an SUT and 606 felt like I achieved that in spirit. Due to the number of rebates it couldn’t get funded traditionally because it had negative depreciation but I was very open to one pay as an option to make the numbers work, very few dealers would even offer it.

Pre-negotiating and showing up the dealer with an agreed price was game changing, the only issue we ran into was this dealer had never taken the training for the GM Card rebate. The QR code wasn’t allowing me to sign up and I spent about an hour with Customer Service from GM and Barclays and others who were useless. Once they logged into their portal clicked the box to take a training and got their personalized QR code everything went smoothly.

Never considered myself a truck guy, but this thing is hella fun.

Nice! EV madness had me looking at vehicles I never imagined myself using too–why not have a bit of discounted fun for a few years.

That stupid Barclays card… prolonged the signing process an hour and a half even though my dealer knew most of the ins and outs. Just couldn’t get the temporary card number! Talked to two Barclays reps on the phone, both useless, telling me to do the exact same thing over and over.

The dealer was nice enough to let me go if I promised to send the temp card number in the next day. Finally got a useful Barclays rep… all I had to do was text GM to the Barclays text number! Would have saved a bunch of time. But, at least got the $500 (and 30k points!).

Have fun with the Hummer! And good luck at Trader Joes lots.

Hello,
do you mind telling me which number you texted to obtain the virtual card numer? Running into the same problem right now, got approved but can’t see a virtual card number. Thank you

Text “GM” to 60956.

When I use the ratefinder calc today the Courtesy discount is no longer there? I cant imagine this program just ended in the middle of the month?
