SIGNED: 2025 Ford Mach-e premium AWD, $378/month, $1500DAS, 36m/12k

About a year ago I purchased a ford mach-e that I shared here: New Mach-E premium AWD extended battery Lease

My son has been driving it mostly and about two weeks ago a lady decided to run a stop sign causing an accident. The damage to the mach-e was extensive and the car was totaled, but it did its most important job, and kept my boys and their friend safe.

Now came the challenge, finding a replacement car that was hopefully still an EV for a reasonable price after all the policy changes. I looked at Cadillac, BWM, Lexus, Kia and no one wanted to play ball and I needed something sooner rather than later. Because my last deal was pretty good, I am walking away with over $5k after the lease payoff. The ford dealer initially came with higher numbers, jacked up MF and it took about two days of emails to get to something I had before.

Now for the numbers:

Year: 2025
Make: Ford
Model: Mach-e Premium AWD with sports appearance package
MSRP: $51,180
Sale Price: 46,266
Rebates: $8500

$5500 EV RCL Cash

$2000 public charging credit

$500 college student

$500 bonus coupons from dealer

Term & Mileage: 36 Months / 12k
DAS: $1500
Monthly: $378 (includes 6% tax)

My previous payment was $367, but with my previous $1000 down, the current $1500 down and the insurance pay, I am somewhat coming out ahead.

Picture of the new and old!

Glad your family is safe. Congrats on the deal, that green really is a great color on these Mach-E’s

Thanks! The green is my favorite color on this car.

I think I could have gotten a bit more discount off msrp with time and patience because the car was a special order that someone did not pick up (so they kept the down payment), but I needed a car and am happy that at least I am not paying more than before. The dealer started with 2.02% APR, then 1.52% and finally down to base 0.52%. The previous car was at 1.25%, but had more rebates.

When I arrived at the dealer, they gave me a paper with higher numbers and I told them to correct those. The second paper had less miles but the correct payment. So, they figured out that he made a mistake and had to give me $500 in additional “coupons” (which was probably the deposit of the special order) to get all the numbers to what we agreed on.
