A big thank you to the leasehackr community + rate finder and calculator for helping me not repeat mistakes I made three years ago.

Well equipped 2025 i4 xDrive w/ M-Sport, Shadowline, Parking Assistance, and Premium package. $71k MSRP with 10% off + $9,500 in rebates/MD tax rolled in/$0 DAS + $500 for shipping.

I ended up purchasing the car out of state to get the .0012 MF. I tried negotiating with five dealers in the DMV and all held to a .0016 MF. It all worked out for the better as the dealership in NJ was excellent to work with on the deal.

What date did you close?

Also, were other dealers giving the same % off but just not the money factor?

Early December, but I started discussions with local dealers in late November.

Yeah, everyone was able to offer the 10% off MSRP but would not budge on the MF. The mark up meant the MSRP discount was really 8% or something.
