Notes:
I adjusted monthly to reflect post sale rebate ($411-$1,688/35)

$1,000 of the $2,000 corporate rebate is technically dealer discount but the contract states it as rebate so I put it that way in the calculator

I started off looking for a loaner BMW iX but was not able to close on one. This dealer tried a lot of shenanigans but ended up giving me a decent deal in the end. We agreed upon a selling price and buy rate MF before I went in. They tried to mark up the MF and then offset it by adding additional MSDs to make it look like they gave me buy rate MF but of course payments were not lining up. Had to spend a couple of hours waiting to have it fixed.

They didn’t disclose a couple of scratches on the exterior but I let it go since they were within the lease end guidelines from BMW. Then I discovered that the car was missing the AC charger and mobility kit listed on the window sticker. They tried to gaslight me that the tires were Run-flats and the mobility kit is not included but a quick google search showed that was false. They ended up pulling those items from a different car and gave them to me. Overall a pretty poor experience with the dealer.

Car drives very well, quick and nimble. Rear seat legroom is much tighter than I expected.

Solid deal! Sounds like dealer was a headache. Thanks for the data point.

And then we have ultimate defenders of dealerships and their time.

Good for you OP. Nice deal.

Nice I think I’ll be shooting for one of these next.

Sorry to hear about the poor dealership experience. Were you doing the deal w/ a sales associate or GSM? Just wondering if that is what could have caused the sleeze tactics.

I left a message for the GSM with my offer and he had a rookie salesguy call me back.

The salesguy was very nice and pleasant but he had absolutely no clue about numbers. He had no idea what MF and MSD are lol. I just told him to just write down the numbers and take them to his manager which he did. Each time the quote came back with random changes - changed miles, changed ZIP code(??), changed MF, changed MSDs etc.

If I did not know my numbers and stick to them, I am pretty sure they would have bamboozled me for a couple of hundred dollars one way or the other.
