$16,6xx total lease cost for a car you could have bought for $31,4xx - $1,000 purchase rebate + 6% tax?

TBH you ripped off your future self.

Hacking cars, whether lease, buy or lease-to-buy, is all about selecting the right vehicle for the right strategy.

Probably not too late to finance the buyout under a credit union’s new car loan APR if you don’t wait too long.

The DAS in your calculator is $500, but the contract says that amount you paid in cash (independent of the trade in) was nearly $1300…?

I paid a $500 deposit for them to hold the car for a week while I got my Pennsylvania driver’s license. Then on day of signing I traded in a beat up 2009 Camry for 2250. I have not paid a first month lease payment yet. This is why I am confused with all the numbers on the contract and the nearly 1300 you are referring to.

Do yo know how much the Camry was actually worth?

NEVER sign anything that you do not fully understand. Enjoy the car at this point.

I’ve never seen a lease where day 1 drive off’s wasn’t the 1st payment. It might exist but I’ve never seen it. The 1st payment is showing in line 3 of section A “due at signing”, it is paid already according to the contract. That being said, they must have either just not collected for the difference due at signing or they forgot to collect the proper amount (this is most likely what happened) and will be calling you to pay the rest.
I think they will say you owe them about $763 if I’m understanding this correctly.
