I believe so, they didn’t have any sales tax credits left. This deal was negotiated over 2 weeks, best deal I got having gone to and working with 3 different dealers in DFW.
Nice combo. Do Volvo’s come with a full tank of gas? Mine was given to me with 1/4 tank. Figured it was due to my crude negiotation tactics.
Probably that someone just forgot to fill it, doubt anyone thought let’s screw this guy to save $40 because he negotiated too hard. If you mentioned it to the dealer at the time of pick up and they didn’t take care of it, then one could see that being an issue.
Yes they did give me the car with a full tank of gas and a power cord.
I wish I’d have asked them the day prior to charge it as well, but the rep said he forgot to charge, no big deal tho.
Also if you got 1/4th tank of gas, it most likely is that they forgot, It really isn’t something I see anyone doing intentionally.
Nice on the pre-incentive rebates. I’m negotiating in WA and having zero luck getting a deal pre-incentive (I qualify for the same incentive total as you).
YMMV is so true here, typically I’ve seen dealerships come close to each other in terms of the deal, but with this car and very similar models, I’ve had other dealerships say there is no way they will do the deal for anywhere close to this, they were okay with me walking out or even entertaining the conversation.
Gotta research and cast a wide net, you’ll definitely find a dealership that is willing to give you a similar deal.
Note : higher chance of better deal if it’s a 2024 and a loaner/demo, they want them gone quick.
