This was a last day of the month deal, so not sure if replicable. It was my first choice of color (Underground) and had no additional dealer add-ons or excessive port installed items that I am used to seeing in my area (SET). It did have a 4Runner Cooler that I plan to sell on Ebay. They shipped the truck from MO to NC for free, which was a big incentive. The deal was also not conditioned on financing, but I opted to use it since they needed to close the deal quickly. The rate is 6.XX%, but I will just pay it all off once the account is set up regardless.
MSRP: $58,163
Sale Price: $54,701
Doc and Title Fee: $305
Approximate Value of Free Shipping: $969
NC Sales Tax, Tags, and Property Tax: $2,387
I am not really sure either, but not complaining. I was originally asking about an Off-Road Premium that had a good discount and this one was strictly MSRP with the free shipping and low doc fee. Exchanged a few messages and I mentioned that I may be interested in the Pro as well. By the end of the day, I had a couple more messages, but was in meetings. Last hour they were open, I took the call and he said would you take it for invoice? I said the ORP, and he said either. I said, definitely interested in the Pro at that price and that was that. I am not sure if this is the actual invoice, or just close, but great deal either way.
More likely they just needed one more unit to reach some type of sales goal. I am not sure if 4/30 is some type of special date for Toyota sales numbers, but it would make sense.
Nice job on the price of the Pro in the color you wanted! The free shipping is the icing on the cake! Everybody is going to start texting @Jrouleau426 to see if he can beat the deal! LOL!
For the life of me I can’t get myself to like the 4Runner but I pinged a few dealers and some of them are willing to discount not 4% deep but 2-3% ish which makes for a decent deal
But mostly dealers in the South, with doc fee of $150-$500s
I’m sure an EOM deal is doable for these 4Runners, but very region specific I think. Like PNW everyone drives a 4Runner no way they are going below MSRP
I recently picked up two TRD Pros in California and was lucky to not pay ADM. There are not an abundance of TRD Pros for sale nationwide and the supply is dwindling every day in favor of the incoming 2025 4Runners so I would not wait.
Thanks Man! It sure beats our Pathfinder, which is due to go back in the fall. I may try to find another cheap lease to replace that so this can be my long term DD. Of course, long term on this forum means something completely different than it does to most people…
I haven’t driven the new pathfinder yet, but I was thinking about picking one up for the wife. I think they look decent enough especially compared to the previous gen. I’m not sure that I can (currently) get one cheap enough that I’d be satisfied with. I almost feel the qx80 presents a better overall value.
