Not a great deal, but I was helping someone who didn’t want to shop around and really wanted to sign today. It was the only 2024 Forester Limited on the lot. I would have done $0 DAS but they were focused on monthly payment. Trade-in allowance was $400 less than Carmax’s online quote but they felt it was worth avoiding the hassle and risk that Carmax would lower the quote after seeing the car. There’s also a slight sales tax benefit from the trade-in that they wouldn’t have gotten from selling to Carmax.
