Congrats on the car, and thanks for sharing.
Deal looks OK, you weren’t ripped off. With the numbers you shared, you’d need 8-9% discount to get there with the current program in NJ.
That residual looks off though, according to RateFindr it should be 62% this month on 39/10K in NJ, yours is like 64%.
The residual was also got my attention but that was not something I was able to negotiate. I was not sure if it was higher for hybrid cars… but yea, you’re right on that… thanks for your time and detailed explanation.
What does it say on your contract? Is MSRP and term correct?
MSRP should have been $57,435, term is 39
And what residual # is listed in the contract?
$36,758.40
it says the agreed upon value is 52,856.30 in the beginning of the contract
Hmm. Ok. That’s 64%. Could be the RateFindr not reporting correctly, not sure.
That’s selling price, you got 8% off pre-incentive. That’s good discount. Enjoy
thanks much, it is great to hear good words from experts. Thank you
Is that 8% off including the federal tax credit or in addition to? I was under the impression that thes hybrids are rare enough that dealers won’t go down much off of MSRP.
The RX350h does not qualify for any EV tax credits.
Oh right it’s not a plugin. Sorry about that. According to google AI, invoice for a 2024 RX350 premium plus is $52,816. So yeah it looks like you got a good deal.
