SIGNED: 2024 Nissan Ariya Empower+ 36mo / 12k, $0 DAS, $499.79 Per month

Just closed a 36 mo / 12k lease on Nissan Ariya Empower+

I am ok with the outcome. If anyone has feedback, it would be super helpful for future leases.

Thank you to all the forum members for sharing valuable insights. I felt a lot more informed compared when i started looking for leases.

Gratitude!!

My feedback would have been to find a trim with better residual/incentive or another brand which does not entail paying 500/mo for an EV but glad you are happy with the vehicle!

Thank you. Appreciate the feedback. I will keep this in mind for my next lease in about an year.

What should I target for RV for a 36 month lease for an EV? This was pretty low, at 53%…for 24month it was around 64%

I was trying to keep it between $350 and $450 effective monthly cost. I was keen on ioniq 5 limited first, but wasn’t really getting any deals in nor cal. I kinda settled for Nissan Ariya, because the car was overall ok and I needed to close by mid August.

If i kept my lease term to be 24 months and 10K, i was getting bettet deals…but wanted to be set for 3 years.

Yea I get that. For some finding leases is a headache, so worth it with 36 months. Most EV leases I have seen lately have been 24 months so if you NEED 36 kinda self-limiting options. For comparison sake, I think when I leased my blazer ev residual was like 81%? Granted there wasn’t 10k incentive but still…

Why you need such a long commitment for EV car? My friend leased a car 18 months ago for 18 months lease with $360/m, and he was crying why he couldn’t get this payment for 3 years. A month ago he switched to Ariya for another 18 months with $90/m payment. I do not need to comment that. LOL

Thanks for sharing. 10% off isn’t bad for a 2024. But 36 months definitely isn’t the sweet spot for Ariya this month.

What was the breakdown for the $10k in rebates? $7,500 lease cash + $2,000 select summer bonus + $500 college grad/military?

They didn’t list the breakdown of the rebates that way. Probably because my entire negotiation was around $0 DAS and ~$470-$500 monthly payment (including tax) for 36 mo / 12K annual miles.

Good point about splitting this up into two 18 month lease. I wasn’t thinking like a true leasehackr lol. But I know I will most likely be in the market in for another lease in an year+ time.

How do you like your Blazer EV?

Yea, the 36 month is a self limiting. The way I approached was as follows:

  • Got offers for 24 mo / 12K
  • Got offers for 36 mo / 12K
  • Checked LeaseHackr flash sale 24 mo / 10K

Optimized for $0 DAS on all.

Then figured out my effective monthly cost on all. The 36 mo was somewhat in the same range for 12K mile lease. I do need 12K miles (10K wasn’t going to work out).

With my simplistic calculation + a need to have a longer term vehicle, I ended up with this.

But I would be thrilled to get an RV of 81% any day :grinning:

You could have gotten BMW i4 at this monthly with some hard work.

True. Would have loved it. Was looking for an SUV though for cargo space

Came here to say this.
