SIGNED: 2024 Lyriq Luxury 2 AWD, 75K MSRP, $7998 one-pay 24/10 (~333/mo 0 down effective)

Not sure if this is (easily) replicable – I called probably 20 dealers within a 200 mile radius of my location in MA and only one was willing to play ball at this level. Many either laughed me off or thought I was bluffing.

This is replacing my $175/mo, 0 down bZ4x. Sold that to Carvana for a ~$830 profit, so the one-pay is effectively lower.

Yes, it’s more expensive, but has way more power, luxury, and access to Tesla’s supercharger network.

What a deal! You’re getting the Lyriq at the price of a Blazer.

Great deal! Lux 2 annnnnd AWD version for under 400 is a little miracle

Pardon my rookie-ness, how do you start conversation with the dealer? Throw the one pay or per month number and see how they react?

Looking to learn

“Here’s my offer for Stock #123456, I will sign tonight.”

You aren’t really starting a conversation, you’re looking for a yes or a no.

For cheaper leases I’d let them calculate the payment after agreeing to a dealer discount (which is before any incentives kick in).

There’s more to it than that, like understanding every number in the offer so you can present it unambiguously… but I don’t want to go too far off topic.

If you spend some time reading, you’ll start to pick up the rest.

Any additional info? Was it 0 miles, loaner, demo, etc?

Anything else that would help to identify opportunities?

Thanks

OP’s deal is 4K conquest and lease cash so a new unit and not a loaner. Loaners would be 2.5K incentive + 3K conquest if you qualify. I’ve been contacting dealers on loaners in TX that they have between 2k and 6K miles and can’t get remotely close to what OP got and I’ve only been asking about Tech and Lux 1. I have a couple more dealers to work but I’m thinking to wait until EOM when dealers have more incentives on their side to move vehicles and I imagine programs at this point would only get worse and not better.

Hi OP!

I was shut down by 1st dealer and told I was $10K off, lol. It was a sports 3 though and similar sticker price (79,800) but a loaner.

Wow 15% off Msrp one of the biggest I have seen - This is a great deal congrats!

Any rwd lyriq shoppers looking for a great deal and can pick up in person in Iowa please DM me. Sorry - No shipping if you ask I won’t respond. The dealer has asked me to help them move more lyriqs via referrals. They have been doing 10% off msrp before incentives. No shipping. Lots of rwd left. Very few awd. No shipping. I’ve been having a number of people reach out to me asking for shipping please read post.

Many have asked about Payment range - If you can qualify for $4500 in rebates (conquest, supplier, GM card) - a 24/10 lease on a rwd lux 1 msrp $63k using Wisconsin taxes and fees is around $399/mo with $1100 total DAS (all charged to GM card).

Isn’t the lease cash supposed to be $1,500 not $1,000?

Or did it go up by another $500 on Oct 14?

Thank you.

BTW Excellent deal, you’re a legend! Congrats

In sept There was 1000 on the lux 2 and 1500 on the 3 level trims but I don’t see it avail in October.

Thanks for the quick response!

When I was shopping around last week I didn’t see the lease cash available, but I thought this deal was signed in October not September, so did a quick Google search and there’s an article from GM authority on Oct 14 claiming the Lyriq is eligible for $1500 lease cash, seems to be across all models.

Not sure if this is being introduced mid October or just incorrect, or if I missed it earlier.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/gmauthority.com/blog/2024/10/cadillac-lyriq-lease-discount-incentives-offers-deals-october-2024/amp/

is this $1500 true ad applies to ALL trims? Did it just start today? i hadnt heard of it till i read that article

Thank you for this. I do not see it in the lease hacker calculator when I reached out to my dealer contact first of October. He said he did not see it either. Maybe it is dealer facing trunk cash and maybe he didn’t want to tell me about it so it’s definitely possible.

I just asked my dealer about it again. He said that I have not seen anything on that.

EDIT:
I did some digging, it looks to me like it is an Employee Offer, for GM Family First, Oct 11, 2024 through Jan 02, 2025.

I think the blog did not get the terms and conditions correct.

Original Post:

I do not see anything listed on the GM Financial site, though not sure if it has updated yet or not.

I am about to contact my dealer and find out since I am signing on Thursday, will update.

On a sidenote, nobody happens to have a GM EV Supplier code they would like to share do they? I use my friends credit card referral links FYI :)_

What exactly do you mean by GM card rebate if you dont mind elaborating please?

As per LH calculator:

GM REWARDS CARD SIGN UP AND SPEND OFFER

$500

Qualification:

Customer must spend a minimum of $1000 using their new My GM Rewards, GM Business Card or GM Extended Family Card at the dealership for down payment, accessories or any other product sold at the dealership to qualify this offer. This offer may only be used once toward the purchase/lease of one vehicle. This offer is not transferrable.

Targeted Requirement:

New, pre-approved customers who apply for, get approved for and spend a minimum of $1000 at the dealership at time of purchase/lease, can use this offer towards the purchase/lease of an eligible new and unused model.

Expiration: 2024-10-31

Thanks for the clarification. It sounds like my dealer is not pulling a fast one on me and they truly do not see this as available for all customers.

Question on this one-pay. Isn’t there a concern that the vehicle gets totaled and you are out the full amount?
