SIGNED: 2024 Lyriq Luxury 1 AWD Loaner | $318/m | 1st DAS | 1k on GM Card

,

Signed this week: 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury 1 AWD Loaner w/ 8xx miles.
24m/10k

I reached out to all dealers within 250 miles or so with an aggressive-ish but fair offer. I got ignored, responses saying “no way we can get close to that”, “good luck finding that”, counter offers being $500+/m, etc. Found a couple dealers willing to deal and 1 very friendly dealer willing to work with me.

Breakdown:

  • MSRP: 66190
  • Pre incentive: 61900 (6.5% MSRP discount, could have pushed harder but '24 Loaners are getting scarce and I was fine with this for a lower MSRP, lower end Lux 1)
  • RV: 52290
  • Incentives: 7000 (3000 Conquest, 2500 Loaner, 1000 Costco, 500 GM card sign up)
  • Tier 1 credit
  • 1st Month DAS
  • To meet the 1k GM Card sign up requirement, I put the 1k toward the lease
  • They threw in a free NACS adapter too (225 value)
  • I took the free 1500 toward a home charger install instead of the 1500 EVGo credit since EVGo is scarce around me and I will mostly use Tesla SC’s

Payment:
$288 pre tax
$318 w/ 10% PA tax included
24/10k

Recent debate is how many miles really you have on the lease?
20k miles total minus 8xx miles?
What does the section 8 say?
Curious

This was one of my main questions with dealers. I didn’t ask every dealer because most were unreasonable out of the gate, but the 7 or so that did talk to me in a normal manner all confirmed that the lease STARTS at the mileage at signing. The dealer I bought from confirmed this as well.

Section 8 does not make mention of this though. I’m under the impression it is based on the odometer reading in the lease deal itself. FWIW, I wont come anywhere close to the 20k total miles so it’s moot for me, but you’re right in that it is an important aspect since some loaners have way more miles.
