Used leasehackr posts and calculator (with super supporter access) to craft a reasonably aggressive one-pay deal for 24mo for 2024 Ioniq 5 Limited AWD. The dealer I contacted said they don’t do one-pay and rejected my offer but said they might be able to work something out with a DAS and monthly plan. Their initial ballpark offer to me was meh so I just told them it wasn’t working out. A couple days later, I politely asked what was the best they could do and they came back with a screaming good $0 DAS/13 mo deal, around $250/mo, which is unreal (unless you’re in CO)! I thought they must be quoting the wrong model but I confirmed with multiple emails. Turns out that they did assume I would get conquest rebate so the numbers were off but it is still excellent at $348 for an Ioniq Limited AWD. Brokers were offering me significantly worse deals and didnt have my preferred color/model. There was some effort to boost the price once I got to the dealership but I held firm with documentation (emails) and a good understanding of how leasing works - all picked up here on Leasehackr over the past few weeks.
They pulled together over $17k in incentives, including the current $14.5K lease cash offer.
Lessons: Keep lines of communication open and don’t get stuck on your own idea of a deal. Play nice but firm! Being a super supporter pays off big time.
