SIGNED! 2024 Ioniq 5 Limited $3,840 one pay 24/24k - Colorado only

This car is so, so cool and I am over the moon. An incredible thrill to tap a card for $3,840 to lease a car for 2 years. Thank you, sincerely, to the folks who run this site, contribute, and to those who chose kindness & helped me out. This means a lot to me and my family.

Discount: -$3,000 (5%)
Dealer fee: $699
Non-taxable fees: $11.94 + $650 acquisition
Taxable selling price: $58,300.94
Residual value is $35,364.60 (59% RV) so depreciation is $22,936.34 which means
Rent: $674!!! (as MF is 0.0003)
Total base single payment: $23,610.72
Tax: $2,080.08
Total single payment: $25,690.80

Rebates: $21,850

  • $5,350 Colorado EV tax credit
  • $14,500 Hyundai lease cash
  • $1,000 conquest
  • $1,000 “fast start flex cash” (no real idea, possibly aged inventory or possibly just because I was nice - this was 4x physical $250 coupons I had to sign individually, very funny)

$25,690.80 single payment - $21,850 in rebates = $3,840.80 one pay.

This could be a “modest” $350/mo payment or $9k one pay, but the $5,350 from Colorado made this impossible to pass on.

There may still be some meat on these bones, and I hope someone is lurking and can beat me, but this store was a total shitshow trying to run a lot of “complicated” deals (ripping people off) by two managers. My salesperson was the most straightforward, responsive, honest, and educated one across 10+ stores I contacted this week. The manager’s office was very intense, and I waited way, way too long to get in with him to fend off a last-minute attempt to mark up the money factor to .0007 after agreeing to .0003 the night before.

I did not ask about the $699 dealer fee at any point. I would love to see someone figure out stacking all of the discounts with a waived fee and a buy rate MF. Depending on taxes, that would get you into a $60k car for under $125/mo.

Stray thoughts:

  • my Denver city taxes are 8.81% Denver, parts of unincorporated Weld County are like 2.9%
  • an SEL would be dramatically cheaper but the full Limited trim is extremely well appointed (the HUD, roof, cameras)
  • I was particular about a not-black exterior and the gray interior, many aged units have black exteriors and the gray interior is like sitting in a god damn space ship
  • I think the tax on the rebates breaks the calculator, it is a little off on these deals but was incredibly helpful throughout this process

This forum got me into a great lease in 2021 that saw a lot of major life events. When the market sucked this spring I ended up financing a used hybrid CRV, a decent deal on a car I’ve come to hate this year. Getting out from that loan (with positive equity!) into this has me feeling very positive about 2025. Thanks again.

You Colorado people are so lucky! Enjoy the car!

jealous of your $1000 of extra rebates and super impressed at this deal. have not seen a better one! I paid $200 extra but am also super thankful for this deal. the limited trim was so, so worth the upgrade.
