This is our first lease, we typically pay cash for auto purchases. In this case I wanted the option to give the car back after the term since EV values have been dropping massively. It seems some have done better but since Montana doesn’t subsidize EV purchases this was a decent deal and the cost is such that we won’t be out too much if an EV isn’t a great fit for us.
