SIGNED: 2024 Honda Prologue Touring AWD, 36/10, 0 DAS, $297/mo

This deal escalated quickly. Didn’t need a car but wanted to get into an EV. Thought I should see what prices were like heading into 2025 with tax credit possibly going away, tariffs, who knows what else.

Investigated Mach E, EV6, Prologue, Blazer. Decided to focus on Prologue, really liked the North Shore Pearl color.

About a week ago, started with feelers online on Elite AWD trim; always asking zero das, 36 month, 10k year. Dealers were coming back at me with ~600/mo on the Elite. Decided I didn’t need the extra features from Elite and focused on Touring AWD trim.
After back and forth and researching leases online: ended up with 3 dealers locally at $350/mo, started getting “I’m breaking even” or “I’m losing money on this”.
Decided to sit on those offers for a few days with Holiday coming up.
One dealer reached out a day later, “What’s it going to take to get this done”. Asked for $320 and said I would deposit right away and pick up later; got it, put deposit down, but it was Sonic Grey. Still cool but not North Shore Pearl. Told the other dealers thank you for their time. Other dealer texts back, $299 for Touring North Shore Pearl. Done.

Picked it up today. Dealer was no nonsense. Finance manager went through the packages and I said no thank you and that was it. I feel bad for anyone who doesn’t have a vehicle purchase like this.

The car is great. I really like that it’s just a totally average vehicle. Not too big, not too small, not to high up in the air, not too low to the ground, not too fast, but for sure not too slow. It is just totally functional. Tech works fine. The rear legroom is quite generous. Kind of wish they’d added more cargo space and less rear leg room. Only thing missing is a frunk.

Thank you Leasehackr!

The calculator says FWD - is this AWD at ~56k MSRP ?

AWD

I somehow made a mistake entering it in. Edited my post to reflect AWD as well.
