SIGNED!: 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 | $699/mo effective | 1-pay |

Just SIGNED! on a 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 for $24681 ($699 effective tax-in).Calculator link. This was a unicorn as the VIN is a retired press/event vehicle and unable to stack model incentives. Waiting to hear if the dealer has any units left they would repeat….

Spent 2 days in an ADHD hyperfocus working 4 different GM EV pickup models. I have access to the GM employee allowance of $4,500. Ironically the deal I made couldn’t even utilize it!

I test drove a Ford Lightning Flash, which I would also recommend. I couldn’t decipher the rebate system as I got a couple quick quotes ranging from $6,500 - $11,500 including x-plan from an employee referral. Ultimately I decided to stick with GM.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what I was able to find as well as my impressions of each model. Feel free to DM me

All figures assume 1-pay lease, Tax 9.375%, GM employee $4000/$4500, Costco $1000, & GM card signup $500

2025 Chevy Silverado LT | MSRP $75k, Sell $69k | ~$14k, 24mo/10k | $583/mo effective
Difficulty to obtain: got it on a single phone call, easy as it gets, probably room to improve
Comments: Large step up in features from the WT trim, missing a lot of features from the rest of the lineup that I found desirable. This did not lease well at 36 months which also was a slight negative.

2025 GMC Hummer 2X (SUT) | | MSRP $99k, Sell $91k | ~$23k, 36mo/10k | $640/mo effective
Difficulty to obtain: Easy, got this on a walk-in when I did a test drive. I’d bet you could get down to $21k/$610/mo effective with some effort.
Comments: This bad boy is girthy on the rode. Was my runner up but given features vs cost. Dealers are swimming in these and were hammering me to take one off their hands.

2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST | MSRP $97k, Sell $83k | ~$26k, 36mo/10k | $730/mo effective
Difficulty to obtain: Moderate, had 2 quotes at this price within a days drive of me, didn’t feel the need to reach out further. Both balked when I tried to push lower.
Comments: Big step up in price from the Hummer and LT. Decided that if they didn’t come down to $24-25k I would go up to the Denali for more luxury.
UPDATE- Sales called me right after posting, $24.3k one pay on this unit

2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali | MSRP $100k, Sell $92.5k | ~$28k, 36mo/10k | $775/mo effective
Difficulty to obtain:Very Hard, I am convinced that these are going to rot on lots and could find a better deal so I reached out to every dealer(20+) with a demo on the lot. Most stopped at $36k, only 3 entertained sub-$30k
Comments: These are going to get cheaper very quickly, but maybe not before the spring. Loaners get $2750, and an additional bump at 60days and 1-2k(?) miles. Assuming incentives hold into the new year….

I found that the current incentives and lease structure were difficult for the sales staff to execute. I had to do a lot of hand holding in the process and thus spent a lot of phone time I didn’t expect. West coast dealers (local) never had an employee PIN before, detroit area was easy. The residualized EV tax credit also threw a few for a loop, but it saves on taxes vs a rebate!.

I also suspect that almost all of the dealers were NOT calculating the 1-pay MF discount correctly in their quote. Sale/finance said I have base MF on a couple quotes, but the calculator only worked if I marked up the MF. This is a delta of ~3k on these high MSRP trucks.

Working on shipping, can update with pics later. Happy Hacking!

That is a steal ! Enjoy ! I hope it’s a black color

Thanks for sharing. I considered the Sierra Denali EV recently too. To add on for any CO residents lurking, there is an Innovative Truck credit offered for tax paying residents (lease or purchase) on Sierra EV of $12k, and $4500 on the hummer. However, in my experience, it was surprising how some of these dealers don’t have much knowledge about EV tax incentives.
For clarity, can you elaborate on the one-pay lease - specifically, are there any risks similar to putting a large down payment. Eg., if your one-pay lease is totaled, how are you impacted?

The Colorado dealer told me about this incentive! They had it at $8k though. Not sure how this works as I’m not a resident.

GM will refund a prorated amount in the case of a total loss. I read a few posts of success and one with some initial difficulty. They are not as common so it may take more effort than a monthly. Best not to get in a crash.

This is correct.

Im in California and having zero luck with these hummer quotes. anything around $600 one pay or not id pull the trigger immediately

he is including GM rebates that most are not qualified for otherwise most dealers are offering more than 10% off on hummer SUVs. so your effective payment will be in mid 800s

Totaling these tanks? must be at demolition derby.

For real, someone please give @Magilla trusted hackr…

RIP his inbox asking to be spoon fed those deals in NorCal.

Thank you! I felt compelled to do a nice write up given the effort and info I gathered.

My motivation was strictly keeping the wife happy :kissing_closed_eyes: She was happy in the Silverado LT, disliked the Hummer. I needed to negotiate a nicer vehicle closer to that price.

I am interested in doing a one pay lease as I don’t want a payment, but I have a HUGE concern. I I wreck a car on a lease with $0 out of pocket, 6 months in, in most cases GAP would cover and I walk away clean. On a one pay lease, GAP still pays but now I am out 2 or 3 years worth of prepaid lease money and no vehicle. Unless there is a substitution of collateral clause in there that I don’t know about that is a horribly bad deal and why would anyone do it?

On a one pay lease you would receive a prorated return for the months remaining. It’s a different agreement as opposed to a cap cost reduction. Much in the same way MSD’s work.

Congrats! Why is the GM dealer I am trying to lease a Denali from telling me the Federal Tax Credit doesn’t apply? The tax credit hasn’t been eliminated yet. We leased an R1S in February and the credit was clearly applied to the lease. It was a Tri model and well over 80k.

This is somewhat of a stale thread at this point so you may want to create your own post for more specific information about a deal you are looking to close but the $7,500 EV credit is included in the residual value of the car on GM Financial leases, not as a separate cash rebate. You are getting it from the leasing company, just in a different way than most captive lenders give it to you.
