The wife really wanted one. Took a bit of effort and sales guys being, well sales guys… not sure how much better i could’ve done on this. I called up and down CA, Nevada, and Arizona.
The calculator and MSRP/discount are a little screwy bc they thru in the raptor running boards with the deal.
That’s usually an issue with people not reading the advertisement, so they ignore the asterisk and expect the dealer to get close to a deal no one is advertising.
Nope, I always read the small print, look at the example MSRP and do not include tax and fees etc.
My own opinion and experience is Ford and GM are the worst dealers to deal with in general.
There are good ones out there, but I have to communicate with many before I find one that is good.
Ford is big on advertising prices based off of stacking lots of rebate the average man will not qualify for.
So is the issue that the dealer won’t honor the price, that you don’t qualify for it, or that they won’t beat the advertised price by thousands in order to make up for what you don’t qualify for?
Haha, you are the reason forums suck. You really don’t post anything helpful (I looked) you just want to troll… And are doing a great job, congrats on that!
Leave your basement sometime, get outside
I just combined rebates plus deduction on the calculator. Sounds like either your going after the wrong trim or not getting all the rebates
The sweet spot is Big Bend with Sasquatch package. Basically it’s the same as the outer banks minus power seats and the option to get the better tech package (which we don’t need)
If you’re getting 3% off, that is pretty good. I got 2.5% and the rest with incentives. DM me if you want the dealer. They said they could give similar deals.
