SIGNED: 2024 Dodge Hornet RT Plus - $52,430 MSRP | 24/10k | $125/month | $0 DAS

Details and calc shared here: SIGNED! – See what others paid for their leases

Grabbed this throwaway deal on Feb 3rd but just getting around to posting it. Got it on the last day before the incentives changed for the worse on 2/4. $9k in lease cash, $2k in returning lessee (have a RAM), and had a $1k TDM code as well. Dealer took $6661 off the car - a 12.7% discount.

Car had the Tech and Blacktop package but I found someone with the OEM 20s semi-local and tossed those on because the 18s looked kinda cheap. Drives better than I would have thought, on both the 18s or 20s, it’s a little bit stiff with a surprising amount of cabin noise, but it’s a good around town car since you can run it in all electric mode. Had to take it into Dodge for a new battery already  it sat for almost a year and a half so the battery was barely hangin’ on, only made it 3 days after bringing it home.

Already installed a Level 2 Emporia charger at home and I’m the first beta tester of the JB4 on the 1.3L engine, definitely wakes it up a little bit!

Great deal! Just curious what is the 812 paid in cash in the contract?
Also, surprised they let you use the TDM, the fine print on mine says 2024 GT and GT+ only.

That was the first payment, title, reg, doc fee but I didn’t actually have to pay anything out of pocket, so I couldn’t tell you why it says those were an out of pocket cost.

Used a TDM code for my car and for a family member’s car a few days before and they were both $1000.

Whats the breakdown of $12k in incentives?

$9k lease cash, $2k returning lessee, $1k TDM

Thanks, I am only seeing $8k for me.

Were you able to generate the $1k TDM on the website?

I was able to get one from website but this is how the fine print reads…

  1. Valid toward the purchase or lease of a new and unused 2025 Durango (excluding SRT/Hellcat) and Hornet models, 2024 Hornet GT & GT+, Durango (excluding SRT) and Charger Daytona models. Must order or take retail delivery by 02/27/2025. Not available to the general public. Valid for the person named on certificate and transferable only to immediate family members within the same household (requires proof of address via government issued identification). Certificate must be presented to a franchised FCA US LLC dealer in the United States at the time of retail purchase or lease. Only one (1) certificate per email or postal mail address. Only one (1) original certificate may be redeemed per eligible customer. If original certificate is lost, a dealer can verify customer eligibility. Offer not redeemable on a purchase or lease made prior to receiving this certificate. Certificate is nonnegotiable and not redeemable for cash. Contact dealer for details. 41CSJ.

Good to know, thanks. I have not been so lucky.

TrueCar offers a $1,000 Stellantis Certificate that I believe is usable on just about any lease. I could of course be mistaken though. You just go to the end of the TrueCar process and then eventually it will offer you the option for the certificate as a last ditch effort for you to agree to allow them to share your contact info with local dealers. But you do not have to do that to access the certificate. Anyways, hopefully this helps you out a bit.

This is how the fine prints read on the standard truecar certificate…
Looks like only for purchase, NOT lease.

Congrats on the sick new ride. I’m in the process of leasing the same 2024 model at the moment. Unfortunately, it’s very hard to find units that have the tech package that you landed on yours. It’s just insane to see a ton of vehicles with a supposed MSRP of 50K+ not include the technology package.

Would you mind sharing the window/Monroney sticker for the vehicle that you leased with the VIN number redacted? This would be most helpful in the negotiation of my current lease. I’m hoping to opt for the same SFS subvented option that you chose with the extraordinarily low MF. However, the Rate Findr on leasehackr has two sets of rates and incentives for each trim level of the Hornet. I’m trying to ascertain whether or not your vehicle includes the “R/T Plus - 28F” package as shown in an example of a window sticker for a vehicle that recently sold.

This is relevant because only the last set of offers presented by Rate Findr states that such an offer “REQUIRES 28F OPTION” as shown in the capture below.

Oddly enough, in contrast to the aforementioned stipulation, when I search for rates with the vehicle’s VIN number or opt for the first set of rates in the drop-down menu, the “REQUIRES 28F OPTION” qualifier is nowhere to be found.

I would presume the rates and terms offered via a VIN search would yield the most accurate result. However, I just want to be certain that I’m crossing all my Ts and dotting all my Is before proceeding to negotiate this deal. As such, your willingness to expound on this issue would be tremendously appreciated.

Hope to view your response very soon. Thanks!

That’s why I said that I wasn’t sure if it could be utilized. I would absolutely expect that you cannot utilize it based on the reading of the terms. However, couldn’t hurt to try. Have you had any luck procuring a means by which to access one of the various $1,000 incentives on a lease?

When is the maturity date for that lease? Did you get any special offer from SFS for that? Do you have current/expiring lease with SFS?
TIA

In the lease referenced above, Gary was able to use some certificate that he obtained on TrueCar. Perhaps it’s a different code than the offer that you and I received from TrueCar. But that seems unlikely. I’ll reach out to him and see exactly how the verbiage read on his TrueCar Stellantis Certificate.

Yes…they have several partners with different fine print. For example, the military one includrs leasing…it reads…2024 Model Year Incentive Offers

-These offers can be combined with most other eligible consumer incentives* and the TrueCar Guaranteed Savings**.
-Offer good toward purchase or lease of new vehicles only. Some vehicle exclusions apply, see dealer to confirm details.

Here is my window sticker, hope it helps.

Not for another 2 years, only requirement was that you were currently leasing a CDJR product.

Thanks for taking the time to post your Monroney. My local dealer has already cut 18.85% off the MSRP, not accounting for their doc fee of $999. Their Hornet has been sitting on the lot for nearly 275 days along with many others. I’ve got my eye on one that’s been on a dealer lot for right at 400 days. The MSRP is insane to start with. Still, in relation to the outrageously unjustifiable MSRP, I’m hoping to get a pre-incentive discount in excess of 22.5%. I might be the only chance they have to get rid of the vehicle for months. If they’re not willing to discount it aggressively, I’ll pass. But nobody else will be walking up anytime soon to buy these units until they start offering a 10K dealer discount at a minimum. I’m specifically referring to the units with an insane MSRP of 50K.

How can I find a dodge dealer near me in CA that is giving a 12% or more off msrp discount?

I was told yesterday by one of the Jeep GM that Hornets and other 2024 PHEV units will not loose EV lease incentives until end of April.
So, maybe we should wait
