Glad I could find a deal on the model my wife and I wanted (comfort+convenience, sunroof) and the Galaxy Gray iridescent metallic paint was a small bonus. Had to drive 5 hours to NC to get this specific car, but the drive was worth it.
Some insights and background on this deal: I’ve been wracking my brain for the past 2-3 weeks looking for a car for my (new) wife, and after looking at GC 4xes, hornets (stop sale still in effect), EQBs and other EV/PHEVs, we went for the Blazer EV. It seems like every Chevy dealer does a few sneaky things to “inflate” their shown discount. In Northern Virginia / DMV at least, they all seem to add the destination charge into their displayed discount then add it back in as a line item to negate it from the discount. Also, regarding the 3k courtesy loaner incentive displayed on the Chevy site (I used their inventory search to target specific vehicles that qualified as loaners), GM corporate claims some dealers “may or may not participate” in that incentive, which sounds like the dealers already added it into their website displayed discount so they act like the incentive isn’t showing as applicable when you start to get down to talking payment.
The dealer I went with initially claimed the retired loaner rebate didn’t exist but magically found another 1.5k to take off the car to compensate. Even with that, the payments were at 352/mo. 2 days later, right after I got off the phone with GM customer service, that dealer’s sales manager called me and “found” another conquest rebate for 1k (not sure if that’s just a discount or if their going to get audited for it) that got us to 317/mo, and I figured that’s the best I’m going to get for the car spec’ed this way and in the color we wanted.
