What was MSRP and how much discount on MSRP was given?

Nice! Is that 3k bolt?

Yes, Bolt loyalty for 3k.

Great deal and rebate combos that we don’t typically see… Bolt + GM Employee referral
Congratulations :clap::tada:

insane deal! i’m in the market for an equinox ev too. could you share your strategy to get such an amazing deal? is it a demo car/loaner? did you use any leases found in leasehackr for the dealer to match or beat?

GM employee and Bolt EV incentives help a lot….

Never show a dealer a good deal on leasehackr for them to match. They will laugh at you and you won’t be taken seriously

What strategy do you recommend? To me, there are two parts, one is the discount from MSRP. Second is RV and MF which I can get the base rate from Edmunds. So do I negotiate the discount from MSRP first and make sure that they don’t mark up the RV and MF?

Do you qualify for Bolt loyalty? What about the other restricted incentives?

You need to own a Bolt EV or Bolt EUV.

Research all incentives that you qualify for in your area (I recommend becoming a Super Supporter so you can see exactly which ones are available in your region). Understand the MF and residual. Use the calculator to plug everything together and get an idea of a realistic deal that you are happy with. Then take that data (discount off MSRP plus incentives) and email/call multiple dealers with YOUR OFFER and see who is most willing to make a deal with you. It is important to specify that “if you are able to agree to these terms, I will sign the deal today…” It’s important that the dealer knows you are serious. It’s also better to do this all at the end of the month when the dealers have more urgency to move inventory. Many dealers will tell you it’s not possible, in which case move on. Eventually you might find that there’s one or two dealers that are willing to get close to your offer, if it’s realistic. A dealer may counter with something close, in which case you can shop it around to see if anyone else will beat it.

But whatever you do, don’t mention leasehackr and don’t send them your LH calculator. You will waste your time doing so.

Be sure to also check the Marketplace and you may find that a broker is offering a deal already pre-negotiated for you. That is by far the easiest route to take.

Do you know if you need to be coming off of a bolt lease or could you have a bolt in the past? I had two in the past 3 years but currently do not have one.

The RV on a 2024 Equinox LT is 77%. It’s high because of the $7500 federal EV money. The RS models have a 76% RV for 2024s. The MF should be 0.00060 (1.44%) for a 2024
