Signed! 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Lux 1 AWD Loaner (241 miles), 24/10 - One Pay $4667

First of all, I would like to thank LH for the amazing insights and great information coming from this community!

A week and half ago I decided to target a 2024 LYRIQ (Lux1/Sport1 loaner) deal before the end of the year and started emailing dealers at a 150 mile radius from me (around 15-20 dealerships). In my first email I just asked if the had any loaners available for lease, most of the dealers didn’t have any loaners and if they did they were a higher trim than the ones I was looking for. If the dealer had a loaner I would reply with the deal that I wanted to target (My deal was based on the info in LH). Most dealers replied back with a “LOL” or “We’re not just giving cars away for free”, but a few dealers replied with a decent counter deal. The dealer I ended-up leasing from simply asked me “What’s the number we need to beat to get your business”, so I gave them the number of the best offer I got and they were able to beat it by $500.

  • 2024 Lyriq Luxury 1 AWD Loaner with 241 miles
  • MSRP: $67,885.00
  • Dealer Discount: $8,335.00
  • Rebates: $7,000 (Conquest, Loaner, Costco,GM Card)
  • Term: 24 months / 10k miles
  • One-Pay Lease: $4,699.69 which is $195/Month

In return of the dealer discount the dealer needed to mark-up the MF.

I thought the money factor was only on the monthly payments, how does that work with a one-pay?

Money factor is calculated on the capitalized cost and residual, not the payment. In a one-pay there is usually a money factor discount.

This is the way. Congrats, OP. Enjoy the ride!

@udiz I am trying to get a similar deal. Can you upload the lease agreement (blackout the confidential info)?

I sent this around to about 15 Florida dealers asking if they could match it.

Replies varied from “we"d be losing $5k on that deal” to someone offering me a $28k one pay. I’m still trying to figure out if that last guy was serious but I think he was.

+1

Would be really helpful if you can share the leasing agreement or the leasehackr calculator. Thanks in advance @udiz

Wonderful deal! The 2024 loaners are so hard to find nowadays in California, especially those with high mileages.
