Leasing again after purchasing a few vehicles during the covid era.
I have been watching iX M60 deals since April and finally decided to pull the trigger this week. Reached out to three dealers mid-week with my proposed terms. One matched it, another was close, and the last one was far form a deal. Picked it up out of state today and absolutely love the car!
It didn’t massage until completion, but the sound system and acceleration blew me away…
Listening to some of my favorite songs was like hearing them for the first time with the phenomenal clarity and depth. Reviews are not kidding when they mention B&W in the iX is near studio quality.
They stout having great deals when in reality they give like $1000 off GLE’s. So please take one for the team for our entertainment as that should be fun
I followed one of these out of the city today. My review - aesthetics are disgusting. Looks like a temu minivan worth no more than $40k with bmw badging. This is the newest Tesla on the block for people looking to burn cash.
$1,200/mo is absolutely insane to me but enjoy the car
I’m not sticking up for the plaid s in any way either, as I hate Tesla. They are some of the most boring, bland, basic, cheaply-built cars that I’ve ever seen. It is one badge that you will never see in my garage regardless of TCO.
To each their own. I absolutely love it and understand that it is not going to be for everyone, especially for internet trolls lol.
Our other car is a fully loaded X5 45e, and the only true contenders for us were an X7, Cayenne, Escalade, or Denali. Hands free driving capability was important to us so that unfortunately ruled out the Cayenne. GM has not been the most reliable lately with the 6.2 or dura max, and the dealer experience with them is always so so at best. X7 was too similar to our X5, and the 45e gave us a teaser of the benefits (e.g. instant torque) of a BEV. We also test drove a GX550, it was very boring to drive although nice inside.
Regardless of the vehicles we considered, the iX M60 is one of the best all around vehicles I have driven. It has great steering feedback (which has been missing from most BMWs the past 10 years), handling is excellent for an SUV, the ride is very comfortable, it is Rolls Royce level quiet inside, and in person the exterior and interior are quite nice. BMW dialed in this vehicle exceptionally well.
TLDR: it is an absolute blast to drive and very luxurious, just not in a traditional sense.
Agreed. It’s also faster than all but like 3-4 SUVs which is an insane thought
In case you haven’t, make sure you try B mode (one pedal driving) and launch control (sport mode and hold brake+accelerator). The auto park is also amazing and not just a gimmick
