You did great! Even though MF is fully marked up, the discount more than makes up for it. It’s the equivalent to about 14% off and buyrate. Well done and enjoy!
Sweet deal Bfun! How did you start the negotiations? Sounds like you already have a long term relationship with dealer. My local dealership said they wont going past a 7% discount off of MSRP.
Not sure about relationship. I’ve leased 4 from 3 different dealers. My baseline was previous deals. I found several on-line I liked and requested quotes. Most eventually gave me a quote which started an online exchange. I asked for 18% off and base MF. They all gave me the same sob stories…they only have a 6% margin. Some tried to get me to come in for a $#. I held firm on making deal online and one came back close enough. A couple more emails and deal was done. The dealer I had the best “relationship” with (all services & tires on last 3, since 2014) was the worst quote BTW.
Yes 9900 is for all, 3000 loyalty and actual saved another 385 on waived disposition for the one i turned in. My understanding you can get the 3000 just by being an employee of one of thousands of companies…here’s a list, not sure how old but it has every company i ever worked for on it.
As to MF im not sure? I see that was something added recently, but i was told in March that base MF for all in my zip code was .00190 and they gave me .0020, but someone commented it was “fully marked up” I was happy with deal so not going to worry about it. You can request this information on Edmund’s lease forum. Good luck!
