Signed: 2024 BMW 840i Coupe (One-pay, effective $475/mo)

Hey LH,

Signed a 2024 840i loaner in NorCal. If you can find a remaining 2024, there’s still a hefty incentive from BMWFS, 8k lease cash and 2k loyalty. I did one pay because the dealership would not do MSDs and they wouldn’t budge on the max markup on MF. I also had to pay half price for PermaPlate. Still a good deal, but I did agree on those terms as they held their ground and needed profit on the back end.

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2024 BMW 840i
Saved Numbers on Leasehackr Calculator:

Loaner Miles 5900
MSRP: $ 96,xxx (M sport, etc)
Selling Price: $ 67,500 (29%)
Monthly Payment: $ 475 effective (with taxes, reg, etc)
Cash Due at Signing: $ 11k one-pay
Incentives: 8k Lease cash, 2k loyalty
MF: 0.0018 base + 0.0004 max markup = 0.0220 minus 0.0060 for One-pay

Months: 24
Annual Mileage: 7.5k
Residual: 58% minus loaner mileage penalty

Region: Northern California
Leasehackr Score: 18.5 years

Now here’s the shameless plug (since I don’t want to bother w/ SAL). If you’re interested in an excellent condition B58 M-sport car in NorCal, I have my earlier similarly hacked 2023 540i up for transfer with a ton of miles and 22 months remaining: 2023 BMW 540i M-sport, 1k down + MSD; effective $516/mo plus tax (Bay Area) - #7 by perdana

Really sucks they did this to you, incredibly unfair of them, I hope you nuke them on the survey for treating you so poorly.

Amazing Deal! If this was a vert, I might have to get rid of my 911 lol

Hahaha, I promise them a perfect survey. It has consistently made the alignment smoother when aiming for a mini.

Congrats, nicely done! Didn’t you get about 30% pre-incentive on the 540 as well? Don’t suppose it was the same dealer?

Awesome hack !

Awesome deal! Lets see that interior

Great deal. And before people go and try to replicate- it won’t be easy. Congrats OP. These 8 series are some of the best looking bmw’s in the last decade

I tried closing on this exact car on the last day of the month but the sales person wouldn’t budge on the deal. Best I got was $684 with 0 DAS for 36/10. Crazy that it was listed at that sale price for close to a month!

Nice. I was trying to close it the last day of the month too, and they wanted to wait on another buyer… guess that was you. Agreed to terms at close of business that day and went and signed it two days later. Similar terms to you if I made it 36/10 instead of 24/7.5.

Thanks all for the feedback - great car, and it’s going to be fun for the next two years.

From responding to PMs and helping some others look in their region, I think the 2024 inventory may be close to tapped out (or no dealer is going to let theirs go for this much of a discount – possibly tariffs and expectations for future inventory). Perhaps the 2025s still have some options.

The best you got was effective or without taxes?
