Signed - 2024 Audi Q8 E-Tron Premium $78k MSRP 36mo/12k $3750 DAS $678+tax mo

Just signed on an Audi Q8 E-Tron Premium, $78k MSRP in Los Angeles. I got a lot of valuable info here, which helped me secure a pretty great deal. Appreciate everyone that’s hacked away at these deals.

36mos/12k mi
$3750 drive-offs
$594 a month before I added Audi Care and their service Term Protection, which covers service wearables including a set of front and rear brakes. They also added some paint and fabric nonsense for $250 which I wasn’t going to make a fuss about. Total pre-tax payment with those add-ons came to $678.

Cost of the wearables plan is about that of one set of brakes, so adding it was a no-brainer for a 36/12mi term where both sets would definitely need to be replaced. Combined with the Audi Care, my maintenance costs should be next to nil during the course of this term. I only foresee having to buy a set of tires before turning the car in.

@Samaudibh might be able to beat in LA?

I’m not hacking EVs this month. Significantly short in stock

What makes you think you will need two sets of brakes in 36k miles on an EV ?

To clarify, when I said two sets I meant one set of fronts and one set of rears. It’s a heavy car at nearly 6,000 pounds.

Audis burn through brakes faster than any cars I’ve owned. 20k on pads is pretty typical for me.

No regen? I had a finance manager tried to convince me that brakes wear faster on a ev.

OP: congrats and post pics!

Ummm, it’s Electric. I’ve had 7 Teslas, one as high as 210K miles, and have never had to do the brakes on any of them. lol

Lol that’s great. I’m at 80% pads on my Benz with 65k and on my last Audi i needed pads at 18k.

And pads are cheap anywhere except the fancy dealerships

Ummm, Q8 don’t have regen brake

Yeah my S4 didn’t need brakes until 90k miles…
