Signed 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce, ~$170/M First Month DAS. 27m/12k

Title speaks for itself, I collected lot of advice from fellow hackers on the platform, and applied it to this search.

Not promotion, but I found the below really helpful in my search:

  • visor.vin (awesome site to search for cars)
  • Moverjet Logistics (helped me ship the car out of FL)
  • when I approached dealerships, I reached out directly to sales mgr, and copied one sales rep with the following info in a table to make my intentions as clear as possible:
    – Stock #, VIN #, MSRP, Discounted Price (off MSRP that I was proposing), Incentives ($ amount, what specific incentives I was eligible for (EV rebate, conquest, 2024 bonus cash, TDM code, and I forgot affiliate (idk if that even applies)), Money Factor, Zip Code, Lease Term/Miles, and proposed DAS amount.
  • I really appreciated when dealers were upfront about whether they thought my proposed terms were achievable, some would give you the runaround and at that point I determined it wasn’t worth to even try with them. just gotta say thanks and move on to the next. I kept an excel sheet detailing who I reached out to, and on what units, what I was being offered, so I wasn’t redoing efforts. staying organized also helped me a lot and get better sense of the market.

For the price, I think the car is great. it’s a nice daily, the range is kinda meh and the gas tank I think is kinda small. its definitely a compact crossover, but still plenty of space for a family of 4. Drives well too, the full electric has some nice pickup. car came with a Lvl 1 charger, and if we leave it in overnight, it’s mostly charged by the morning. Pretty happy with the overall deal. the unit I got is a lower msrp but has plenty of features(<50k) which ticks my boxes.

Nice. I have the Hornet plug in version. I’m loving it. That’s the perfect price. Congrats

Any numbers you can share? MSRP, Discounted price, Rebates, etc. Would really help with the data points.

Nice deals. Congrats!

They’re on stop-sale right now along with the Hornet RT/RT Plus.

@lovesb00st, thanks for posting. Surprised the dealer released the car to you? Can you run your VIN through this tool and tell us the result for the recall?

Right now, no dealers that i’ve spoken with can release a Hornet RT/RT Plus or Tonale Hybrid

hey, I see 1 open recall. to be transparent - I signed the lease in April. so it has been a little time since I got around to posting the deal on LH

Pls see post for rebates.
Msrp ~50k
Discount ~12k (pre rebate)

one odd thing to note though - I can’t take the car out of country? haven’t seen this before on my other leases idk how hard they would enforce it though…

That could just be boiler plate language to deter black market importers, although I struggle to see why they would need it in one of these. Maybe they are much more expensive in Italy?

Does the language read as more of an anti-export thing or more of a “don’t go to canada to go to the casino” type of language?

That’s a 24% discount before rebates, was this a demo? I don’t think we’ve seen a discount that high that wasn’t a loaner. Solid deal.

Right now they’re all on a stop sale because of the recall. The dealers can’t sell them even if they wanted to.

There must’ve been $3k VIN specific cash there.

This is kind of what I’d be interested in.. If you’re going to find one of these low-priced, subvented lease deals, get something different. Something fun and unique. I’d be very interested in this if the deal cam across my area.

more like the second haha

Nah not a demo surprisingly. less than 20 miles on odo

There’s quite a few floating around, keep an eye on the Hornet stop sale thread to see when dealers will be able to sell these again.

Is there an active Alfa referral program right now? I noticed that incentive on the calculator, but haven’t seen anyone mention it.

I am struggling to find information about the stop sale. My 2024 Tonale lease is coming to an end in December. I would not mind doing it again at this price – love the car. What is the significance of doing the deal in FL? I see you talking about rebates but I don’t see them in the thread – are you talking about some other message thread where you have details on the rebates?

There’s a thread on Ask the Hackrs on the stop sale. Still no ETA. Nobody knows what the market will look like in December.

I believe theres $7500 as well as maybe an additional $3000 to the dealer for aged inventory along with decent residuals and a low MF
