Signed: 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale Ti, 27/mo, 12k/yr. 0DAS, $188/mo

,

Signed tonight on a 2024 Tonale demo with 1400 miles.

Dealer was great, over $12k discount and $12,250 in rebates.

This was their last demo, so they can’t replicate the deal.

Amazing deal!

How do you like the car so far?

It’s better than I expected, drives nice and has more pep than the competition like the CRV or RAV4. With their depreciation, I wouldn’t want to own it, but it’s an excellent deal that I couldn’t pass up. Not much is in this price range that isn’t a pure EV which doesn’t work for us.

But is it comparable to the CRV in terms of size?

That would be a great option.

The CRV is slightly bigger. It wasn’t on my radar because the Honda lease deals are horrible, and I’ve always found the CRV driving experience snooze inducing. As for the Tonale, I’m 6’1 and fit well inside, and with the driver seat adjusted for me, I can sit behind without my knees hitting the seat. Its overall dimensions are smaller, but it’s packaged well. The larger Alpha SUV, the Stelvio, actually has less interior room than the Tonale, which shocked me.

what rebates did you get? aside from 7500 ev credit?

Total rebates were:

  1. $7250 EV tax credit.
  2. $2500 bonus cash.
  3. $1000 conquest cash.
  4. $1000 TDM cash (Trucar).
  5. $500 military cash.

Thanks for this! Was there an additional discount on the MSRP, beyond the incentives? I’m trying to negotiate my own deal.

The discount was $12,200.

I could have sworn that the TrueCar TDM didn’t apply to leases. Every version I printed off had the exclusion clearly stated. Glad you got the dealer to accept it, but I do wonder if it will get kicked back.

It does show it’s excluded on the disclaimer, but the dealer had no trouble making it work. I even was watching while he claimed the incentive and the system didn’t give them any pushback.
