My 18 month Titan one pay lease ended, and despite not really being a truck guy before that, I used it so much I wanted/needed another truck. I found a 2023 Rivian R1T Quad Motor Large from the Rivian inventory. They currently have a $6k friends and family discount on 2023 and 2024 R1T’s, (they also recently added $2500 off for Gen2 R1T and R1S). The MF is essentially zero with a 57% residual. Add in the F&F discount, a $2300 “old” model discount and $7500 tax rebate all made for a solid deal.
I originally found and ordered a 2024 R1T Dual Large, which was about $670/mo for 36/15k, but ditched that order when the 2023 Quad Large popped up. The 2025 models are an updated Gen2, but the lease payment would have been between 2x and 3x.
The $6k F&F goes on until the end of the month, so you would need to find one and get the deal done asap. I think the “finding one” will be the hard part. It involves a LOT of browser refreshing. These deals have been going off and on for a few months, but I have to imagine at some point they will run out of these older models.
It has come and gone a few times. It’s pretty easy to get a referral. There are plenty of employees on Reddit willing to offer one up. From what I understand, they get a $500 kickback. You need to first place the order, then you will need to provide them the order # and they will attach the discount.
Hi there - I also reserved a 2023. You actually paid $4,120 at signing? And the $7500 EV Credit and $6000 F&F discount were both deducted from the MSRP?
I paid the $500 deposit + $3620 at signing to cover first month, taxes and fees. F&F was deducted from the purchase price to bring down the gross cap cost and the $7500 was a rebate / cap reduction.
