With that price I’m pretty sure you could’ve got into a German vehicle.
I contacted my Lexus contact to acquire pricing information for some Lexus models out of curiosity. Among them was a 23 ES F-Sport, which is not exactly my top preference, but this thread concerns a Lexus F-Sport. I typically avoid selling to dealers because they rarely offer better pricing in comparison to a third party. However, at that time, Carvana and Vroom were actually offering approximately $1,000 less than what my contact quoted me, even though I did not request a trade-in, my contact included it in the quote regardless. While the payment offer may seem disproportionate compared to the numerous EV deals available for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi, it is still reasonable for a Lexus.
Just did a deal last weekend on 2023 ES350 F Sport Handling.
MSRP $55960. Selling price $48422. $2000 Western region rebate. $1000 Loyalty. 36/7500. RV=53%. Buy rate MF=0.00165. Max MSDs. (Though dealer collected 10 when max is 9). $0 DAS. $630 all in (9.5% CA sales tax).
Has your region provided the complimentary first lease payment? I have done a rough calculation and found that full MSDs could have reduced the monthly payment to around $565-$575, which would represent a reduction of about $2000.
they did not- last lease done in Nov 2020 for same model in the good old days: $5000 lease cash, 1st month covered, $1500 Loyalty and MF=0.00001. Miss those days for sure.
